Mostly woo. The absorption rate is correct, but it takes an average of 8 hours for food to be digested. So you are absorbing nutrients the whole time it's passing through your digestive system. (small intestines do most of the absorption, but not all).

I do morning cardio. My post jog is a serving of frosted mini wheats. High in fiber, just a bit of sugar. I always have beans, have a pot cooking right now. Pintos are my go to. 1lb beans, 10 jalepenos, 4 large tomatoes, an onion, a few cloves of garlic and 2oz of bacon for a bit of flavor. Salt & pepper.

That's generally what works for me. Although if I know I shouldn't be hungry, I'll have a cup of tea and wait 20 minutes to see if I'm really hungry. Sometimes my stomach must get bored or something.

Probably not the treadmill. What it might be is ambiet air temperature and humidity. Many nicer gyms have better air circulation than cheap ones. They also tend to have better air conditioning. Warmer, humid and stale air can affect endurance/performance negatively.
