I wear soccer shorts, a sports bra and a tank top. Sometimes if the tanks gets too sweaty working my upper body and becomes clingy, I'll remove it. By the time I'm into my second set, I'm generally so focused that a heard of wildebeest could be roaming around and I probably wouldn't notice. I honestly don't care if someone…

Always! I usually gain 3lbs the day before I start. It's just water retention. Now if you weigh yourself daily and track your period; you can (fairly accurately) know when you are about to start - can save a nice pair of underwear from being relegated to the back of the drawer.

I don't log my weight training calories. Basically because they aren't accurate. I do the same number of total reps for my biceps/shoulders in one day as I do for my legs. Because I can not only lift more with my legs than arms, but they are longer - even with that same time duration, I use more energy working my legs.…

New running shoes: I buy good ones The rest: usually cheap (often used jeans) as I'm just going to shrink right out of them as well, but at least I'll have something that fits right for a while.

It's real alright. You make a monitary bet to lose weight in a certain time. The catch: read the fine print - they can use your images and stats for whatever they want (advertising). Most people fail at this because of the knee jerk greedy reaction to "win" a lot of money by setting really hard goals. So, if you set a…

I have an ex-friend that said I was too fat to be seen around (not really ever a friend). Now, when I know they'll be somewhere (we live near each other), I purposely wear my most body flattering clothes. I get some joy in that I'm now noticable smaller than her...and flaunt it.
-
I generally stick to clothes, as I keep shrinking out of my old clothes . For big accomplishments, I do something amazing: when I dropped 100lbs I booked a two week vacation to GB.

Makes any endurance runner look down right lazy.

Ants: The carpenter ant can lift 1,000 times it's body weight. That's the equivalent of a 180lb person lifting a Boeing 747!!! Now that's heavy lifting.
-
Worth it! Everyday I still have to remind myself of where I've started from, and how far I've made it. That was small setbacks don't bother me.
-
WOW!!! That's great. Please remember that healthy weight loss is a percentage of weight to lose, so as you continue, the amount of weight you lose over a given time will decrease. (The 1-2lb a week rule is generally for those that are around 200lbs or less depending on height). Again, congratulations and just take one day…

Feel free to add me

For three months in, that looks great. Listen to your body, if you are exhausted all the time it might be too much. If/when you feel that they are a bit easy, that's when it's time to do a bit more. I like that you incorporate rest days, very important, most people starting out go all-out and don't realize that the body…

Click on the person you want to add. Then on thier picture. There should be an icon/spot showing two people together. That's where you add a friend. Just click on that and send the request

Awesome!

Finding a sport or activity you like usually works. Because you enjoy it, you'll do it, no motivation required. Then to get better at the sport incorporate other exercises. You'll do those as well simply for the sport or activity you enjoy.

Lots of fresh veggies

Probably my best friend. She's in Corpus and the power went out (no AC).

That's amazing! Keep up the great work ethic. Meh, some people just love to complain about anything and everything, let them. Personally I think you're doing great to stack HIIT, most I've ever done is 3 10's before utterly collapsing.

I've lost well over 100 and have probably another 20-30 to go. I do both cardio and weight training. I don't believe in "diets", every one I have ever tried ended in failure. I had to change my lifestyle little by little, then the weight came off and is staying off. Feel free to add me. I know exactly how hard it can be at…
-
None. Diets are designed to be temporary, which is generally why the end up failing in the long run. Simply eat less than your maintenance and you will lose weight. Once at desired weight, eat at maintenance. Eat what you normally eat, just remove some of the less nutritious food or scale back overall quantities.
-
False. Once I'm with someone to the point we're in our underwear, I don't care - it's not going to stay on. And it's just more comfortable. T or F. Prefers to "wing it" on vacation over following a set schedule.
-
First thing in the morning right after you pee. Wear the same type of clothes so any change will be actual and not related to clothing or how much food/water is in your stomach. I tend to weigh myself about once a month, but that's just me. Some people prefer daily. Just note that water retention fluctuations are normal so…

Nope. I try to do cardio as soon as I wake up to get it out of the way as I don't like cardio. But it's about total CICO averages that matter for weight loss.

Went from a snug size 14 to a loose size 10 in the same brand of jeans.

Yesterday was leg day: progressive lifting. My legs are ON FIRE today!!!! Best of luck, and you're going to find out how…

Look at the color of your urine, if it is clear you are drinking way too much water. Every 20 minutes!!! That's a lot, if your urine isn't clear (or really pale), go to a doctor. If it is pale/clear: you're just drinking too much water. Back off a bit.

Recipe to boost metabolism: run (or anything else that increased blood flow, lung work, heart rate). And then it's only increased while you're at the increase work load. There are no magic foods that can increase or decrease metabolism. Metabolism is just the rate at which your body uses energy as fuel. The more you work…
