1200 calories a day and not feeling deprived depends on your body (size) and what you eat. If you eat very lean/low calorie protiens (mainly plain white fish or chicken), a ton of plain raw or lightly steamed vegetables and then just a cup of complex carbs (brown rice). That's a lot of food volume to hit 1200 calories a…

Found out that "calling" is for old people (per my 16yr old daughter & her friends). You text or Snapchat them now.

Tupac, Green Day, and Nirvava are technically "the oldies".... WTF!!! Dammit.

I'm 41 from. Texas. 180lbs, used to be over 300lbs!!! As far as weight training, machines have thier uses, as does cables and free weights. Learing how to use them all for a better workout is better than just sticking to one or the other. I do cardio daily (because it's good for me, not because I get any joy out of it) and…

Don't diet. They don't work. Just use a food scale (seriously, the best $20 investment for long term health ever!!!), and learn what and how much you are truly eating. Make simple changes that are sustainable long term, basically small changes will become habits. Habits become a lifestyle. Stay calorie deficient and you…

No. Unless a "diet" is something that you can do for the rest of your life, when you stop: fat generally comes right back on. That's pretty much how and why most "diets" fail, most are generally unsustainable for the long term. Now if you have an underlying medical condition where a specific diet is better for you low…

Because I don't want it. Generally works. "Because I'm not hungry also works"

Depends on your goals. If you are looking to build muscle mass, go with higher protien. For someone who simply wants to be in good shape, the pre-sets are pretty good. Neither one is more important than another, you need all to be healthy. I'd say work on one, then work on the second, then try to balance all the best you…

My daughter doesn't like Snickers. When she was younger I convinced her that she didn't, just so I could eat all of them, especially the ones from her Halloween candy.

A lightsaber.... You can use that as a pick-up line. Although, I hear that's quite a painful spot to get tattood.

Dipping chicken in an egg batter is basically. Drowning a corpse in the mutilated remains of their unborn children.

Antarctica is the world's largest desert. The dark region on Pluto's moon, Charon, is called Mordor.

Both. I do the weeding, hire someone to do the mowing and tree trimming.

Was asked if I needed a "spot" while working out. I was doing deadlifts. How do you spot a deadlift????? Especially when it's a light enough weight that I don't need a belt or knee wraps on.

MFP erasred the rest of it.. Ugh!!!! Short version: young man had no idea what a BLT was, so I explained in detail. He still needed step by step instructions.

PWO Instructions: never exceed 3 scoops OP: I took 12 I always thought proper gym etiquette was if someone is waiting, ask if they are using the same weight and if so can work in(especially with regulars - what comes around goes around, if I'm considerate they'll usually be the same way with me). If not, ask how many (if…

If they knew you at your heaviest, include the weight lost from illness (they will also know you were ill). If not, it doesn't really matter. It's not cheating, it's a battle that you won and only costed you 25lbs. If you want you can say you lost 25lbs when you were sick, the rest is all you working hard. Either way,…

Hi. I was morbidly obese for a long while. Now I'm 180lbs and still dropping. Took me a while to figure out that dieting doesn't work. I do morning cardio every day, and weight train 6 days a week (absolutely love it!). What does work is adjusting eating habits to be in a calorie deficit as an ongoing average (if your 300…

Congratulations on starting. Feel free to add me.

I live in the desert. Drink plenty of water, seriously it's not just the heat but the very arid conditions. Pedialyte is good, so is unfiltered coconut water, or if you can stand it make your own in a bottle of water by mixing 4 teaspoona of sugar and 1 of salt into a 20oz water bottle. Also, have oranges handy (not juice,…

Rinse them in a colander, then pat dry. This will remove most of the oil. Then add 5 grams vegetable oil into your diary as a buffer.

A lot!!! Especially meats. Raw meat has a lot of water that gets cooked out so it will weigh a lot less when cooked than in it's raw form, yet it will still have the same calories. Vegetables tend to absorb water (from steaming or other cooking methods involving liquids), so they will be heavier when cooked. But, as…

If you are eating extremely healthy (lean protien, steamed/raw veggies, complex carbs) and not much else. Yep, sometimes it can get hard. 1. There are no bad foods (unless you are allergic to it - then yeah that would be bad) 2. If you are on point with all your micros and macros, there is nothing wrong with eating…

I meal prep for the week. Every meal except dinner (still cook once a day for myself & my daughter). I generally plan my meals on Saturday & go grocery shopping that evening. It usually takes me about 6 hours on Sunday to weight, prepare and package everything for the following week. I also eat 6 times a day, 6 small…

Remember, as you lose fat, you also loose some water weight as there's less of you to retain water. So @DX2JX2 is correct in how much fat you lost. You also probably lost the other 3-4lbs in water.

Perfume: just one a day and I'm fine Eau de toilet or cologne: sometimes every 4-5 hours, so I just stopped buying it. Too much hassle to take with me.
-
You can't spot reduce fat. The body just doesn't work that way. You have to lose fat overall and just hope it starts from where you want it gone.
