Aw thanks y’all! Along with losing weight I’m trying to tackle my emotional bs so that weight loss isn’t something done by just CICO but also by me learning how to value my life and health. I’ve had a lifetime of apathy and denial and self loathing. Food has been my drug and now I am in recovery. Food has to be my fuel not…

Way to go! I’m proud of you!!

Hi!! Glad you’re here!
-
I feel amazing! I ate what I planned. I did not over indulge. I didn’t get sleepy. I hate a perfect normal size amount. I did have two glasses of wine when I only planned on one but it’s fine. I just feel so darn proud of myself!!!! I actually thanked y’all at the dinner table. My larger loser family for giving me the…

Today I’m going to be ok with how I look. Not doing the fat and ugly self talk.

So I am cooking a whole bunch of stuff. We are having turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, rolls, cranberry sauce, corn, candied yams, brussel sprouts, stuffing for the main meal and deviled eggs, spinach dip, crab dip and bread bowl for appetizers. Apple pie, pecan pie, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream, cool whip or vanilla…

@conniewilkins56 no fit bit but I have thought about getting one. I want one for the pool I’ve heard there are ones that can go in water.

Yep. I eat Joseph’s and I’m at an average of 1.87 lbs per week.

This will be the first Thanksgiving since my mom has died and my stepfather commit suicide the week before Thanksgiving many years ago. Instead of being sad and weighed down with grief and eating my feelings, I’m going to try to work through a way to honor them and not fill up my emotional hole with food. It doesn’t work…

@NovusDies thank you for this. My appetite is back lol I have such a hard time understanding neat and tdee.

Grocery shopped today. Got everything for Thanksgiving and planned well for myself for the week. I decided to get some light soup to switch things up a bit for lunches. I also got some green peppers to dip into the garlic and onion cream cheese instead of on a pita to help cut my carbs down a little. Still swollen today…

Thanks. I know what you mean. I’m certainly not used to eating under 1200 or I wouldn’t be this big now lol. I’m working on getting a better eating plan together for tomorrow.
-
Thanks. I’m thinking my allergies might be a factor since we turned off the ac and have had the windows open?
-
Nope. I have low blood pressure and this is the first time I have noticed swelling. Those desserts sound great. I will try some. With drinking so much water I’m too full. Never thought I’d say that lol I’m having a hard time getting to 1200 today. I didn’t eat lunch and I’m 360 short of the 1330 I’m suppose to have. I…

Today I’m going to focus on drinking water. My goal is to drink 64 oz. I’m so swollen and I need to get a handle on it. My weight is the same as last week but I know I’m swollen. I can see and feel the puffyness and my wedding ring is tiiiight!!! Friday’s are usually my meal planning days because I grocery shop on…
-
I am learning patience right now too!
-
Awesome! Keep up the good work. Beautiful!
-
Drink water to get rid of water? I’ll try it!
-
Today I am really struggling with swelling. My wedding ring is tight. I’m not sure where the water retention came from but how do I get rid of it?

Way to go @conniewilkins56 💫💫💫

I’m struggling to find low cal no or low carb snacks that aren’t weird or expensive. If you read my doom and gloom post you know I’m bored. I’ve been toying with writing a children’s book for a few years so I’m going to get started on that. If nothing else, it will occupy my time. I’ve also taken up watercolors so that’s…

Thanks for resurrecting this thread Connie! I am the one cooking and my one tip is not to taste a spoonful of everything while you are cooking it. I’m thinking specifically about mashed potatoes for me. There is no need to taste them I can look right at them and tell if I added enough butter and milk.
