If you have your settings set as Sedentary - YES, YES, you should eat those calories back. Sedentary means you move LESS than 5000 steps a day. MFP calculates your calories needs assuming that the person doesn't move at all and is truly sedentary. So if you are walking 10-15k steps a day, no matter how those steps were…

I walk at least 10,000 steps every day and FitBit regularly adjust 400-600. People, please don't forget that fitness websites state that 10,000 steps a day is considered "Active" NOT Sedentary. It is perfectly reasonable for there to be a calorie adjustment.…

There is something most definitely wrong with your FitBit. You should call their tech support.

@Summer_Tulip How was the cauliflower crust pizza? My local TJ doesn't have it, but I've been curious

I did it and I felt great, but... I did not loose weight. Whole30 is not intended to be a weight loss method. It's an elimination diet to reduce irritants in your system.

Beets!

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/MommaGem2017 Had a rough few days with energy levels, but I'm making some adjustments and feel better today. Sometimes this feels like an enormous science project and I'm trying to find just the right formula. That might be anti-chill ;-) I think I need to chill more and 'think' a…

173 - every time. But I agree with @VintageFeline - for me it's probably psychological. I likely start getting sloppy around that point.

Oh me too! Poor sleep and I'm ravenous all day!

I ate 136 calories of fruits and veggies yesterday, and I ate less of them than usual, so I'd guess I normally average about 200 cals. If you are carefully trying to map a deficit, then logging everything that enters your mouth is important.

Ohhh, @daniellemichellecowger - In and Out burger! I am having food envy!
-
I would put mine over roasted cauliflower chunks - YUMMY!

I am not loving the judgement some posters are assigning to his choice of meal. That's beside the point and doesn't answer his question. Of course a "splurge" for you would be different than a splurge for the OP. No one is saying you have to eat this much food to consider this scenario. When YOU splurge - do you track it…

I would hardly consider one high calorie meal on a special occasion "foolish."

Hey there my Chill group :) I did a little Diary housekeeping and actually changed the Meals displayed to accurately reflect when I eat (ie. snack all day long) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/MommaGem2017 @Mizzy58 I love, love my FitBit! Syncing it and having the calorie adjustment is brilliant! It's like I'm…

I have ranted on other WW threads, but in essence my two biggest concerns were 1.) Vastly different point values for items with the same calorie count. Even "healthy" foods were randomly penalized. 2.) No encouragement to actually eat back exercise points. It left me tired and weak way too many days.

Me too. Small, non-fat cappuccino. And those are really just the occasional treat. Maybe twice a month.

Good morning, good morning! I am highly caffeinated today :D Started off this morning with a brisk walk. It's a busy day today, so I'll have to be spot on to get in my steps and eat on time.

I'm 42, mom of two young ones, and work full-time. Feel free to add :)

Finally closed my diary without eating everything on the planet today. That was an accomplishment for me ;)

This is me! Exactly! First child will be 6 in 6 weeks :open_mouth: and 25 lbs to go after child #2 was born (she's 4).

Some days I get so caught up in what I'm doing that I literally have to set the alarm on my phone to get up and move. Time can speed by so fast!

I'm all for a low-key accountability group  http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/MommaGem2017 I've gained and lost a few times over after having two kids, but never got back to pre-children weight. While balancing work (desk job), kids and study, I'm just doing my best to track, keep some sort of balance to what…

I had a couple of stressful days recently, so this is fresh in mind. For me, when low moments arrive I try to reach for non-food comforts - a hot shower, a quiet walk, or sometimes just going to bed early help me to hit the reset button without sabotaging my day.
-
Pre-plan, pre-plan - that's the biggest help for me. I wear a FitBit, so I can track all forms of activity (walking up and down the stairs, cleaning house, chasing the kids), then sync it with MFP so I know what the calorie adjustment is. The I prep and eat the meals I have planned. If I have been especially busy and have…

Veggie burgers and a big salad is one of my favorites

Whole30 is specifically not recommended for vegans. There are some modifications for vegetarians, but it just makes a difficult program even more restrictive.
-
Maybe going for a long walk instead of the gym. Just something a little less intensity, but still gets you moving?
-
The Whole30 fat intake post got me thinking again about WW penalized foods. 1 slice reduced calorie whole wheat bread - 50 cal - 1 point. 1/4 avocado I had for lunch - 50 cal - 3 points! Same Calories - Different Point Values! I am just so frustrated by WW intentionally manipulating people to choose certain foods over…

All your u have to do is heat them up a little bit and they are ready to eat. The texture may be a little different from long-cooked black beans.
