Most restaurants post the nutritional information online (or even in the menu), so do eat out, but I do my homework and preplan before I go.

I posted this is another thread - my recent realizations and frustrations with the current WW system: 1.) WW does not take your normal daily activity level into consideration when allotting daily points. 2.) The WW community does not encourage eating the Fit Points (which would be the equivalent of eating back exercise…

Congratulations on your hard work!

I tend to crave salty foods like mad. I just drink extra water to counter it.
-
Sometimes I have a light breakfast and lunch to allow for a larger dinner. Not cheating, I budgeted it in.

Prayers!

Coffee with a splash of soy milk - that's all

Make sure you check the amount of cholesterol in the Whey protein. I had a cyclist friend whose cholesterol went through the roof from whey protein powders.

That ingredients list makes me cringe! I totally agree about Bolthouse. That's a better lo-cal option.
-
I'd be looking for some new friends. Do you really want to continue to hang out that kind of toxicity?

If I ate 1300 calories of cookies and Doritos I would end the day feeling like crud and even worse the next day. Is there a place for snack foods? Sure. But a whole diet of it would likely raise my blood pressure, bloat, and negatively affect my sleep.

Don't worry, it takes a little while to get all the apps synced and working together nicely. I would just eat your MFP calories for now until you figure out what's going on with garmin. I typically get 500-800 calories for 10k+ steps. I'm smaller than you so you may get a bigger burn, but not 4000cal.

I hope you get better swiftly!

I tried the disconnect and reconnect my link to FitBit and it finally synced

I hope the doctors sort every get out and you are on the mend soon!

I'm planning on working in a donut as an afternoon snack is weekend

One I salute some veggies and potatoes, add eggs, then some avocado for healthy fat. Keeps me full until lunch. These days I've been lazy and I made a egg, cheese, and veggie sausage on a light English muffin.

I recommend entering your stats and goals into MFP, then start logging your food (if you haven't already). To bring it up a step, measure your food before you eat it. Just to make sure you're not underestimating how much you're eating.

I love Amy's frozen meals, but always add an extra serving or two of veggies. (Broccoli cheese pasta bake - I'm talking to you ;) )

I share mine. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian so if anyone wants meal ideas - take a peek.

Because it's impossible for one day to be identical to another. One day I might each more sodium and hold water weight. I may not have pooped in 3 days. I may have sweat away more moisture during a regular workout. Our bodies perform complex processes that utilize our food and water at varying rates.

Given the challenges you have with your body I would advise that slow and steady is the best plan. Rest when you are sick. Eat nourishing foods. I hope you feel better soon!

^^^^THIS^^^^ It took me a long time to get out of the mindset that I needed a ton of protein. I found it was much more important, as a vegetarian, to make sure I was actually eating enough vegetable matter ;)

I would weigh it after I baked it, but make sure to log an entry that specifically said "baked" potato

Yes, but only 2 bananas would bridge that gap.

I consider managing to track everything and control yourself during AF during your first is a Major accomplishment - great job!

Do they "officially" encourage you to eat FitPoints, sure, but anyone using the C WW Connect app regularly finds that very few people eat their FitPoints. Also, there is The Who,e Sprengel movement that is just trying to convince people to eat their weeklies, so as a Community - eating outside of the Blue dot range is not…

So true. I gained weight while marathon training and it was not all muscle. Believe me, I could eat up the plates of pasta after a training run

Don't even get me started about WW. I just quit after 2 months. I did lose weight, but I was constantly starving!! So I started tracking in both WW and MFP to see what was going wrong. 1.) WW does not take your normal daily activity level into consideration when allotting daily points. 2.) The WW community does not…

I have two little kids and work from home. Planning and tracking had been the key for me. Having easy foods to prepare like Greek yogurt , avocado toast, or fruit ready helps. The biggest issue I had after having kids was grazing :( I was always nibbling when I was getting them snacks or meals or bored or tired. Always…
