I had the same problem! Activity level set at sedentary, mfp gave me 16 calories for 12,000 steps. I just changed my setting to active and I know I burn 2500 calories a day so I can eat 1900 or 2000 and still loae

Boil chicken ( I use my instant pot) and shred it with hand mixer; easy source of protein that is ready to go in fridge. Bake up a bunch of sweet potatoes/ potatoes. I also roast vegetables to keep in fridge; best leftover can go in salad, sandwich, as a side, etc

My son who lost quite a bit of weight using MFP didn't weigh himself at all. Just at the beginning to set the calories, then increased them when he felt he was thin enough. He said he can look in the mirror and see if he is too fat or too thin.

Check out Forks over Knives. They have a website, cookbooks, an app, and magazines. I bought a magazine on impulse and everything I made from it was delicious. We are not vegan, but with a vegetarian husband and a child allergic to milk and eggs, its the only way we can all eat together!

I have to reply to this. Don't do what I did! I wanted to lose weight after my second child. I restricted my calories and exercised a lot. I was successful at losing weight. I lost 25 pounds in 6 weeks BUT my exclusively breast fed baby went from the 50th to the 5th percentile in weight. I stopped dieting. He was very…
