Thank you everyone for posting. I just went down the rabbit hole of reading reddit comments and they started talking about how eating 3 times a day isn't beneficial and people who eat multiple times during the day is harmful. One thing led to another and talks about "fasting" words like autophagy or something were being…

I just feel like "I wish" I had started earlier. Lol I also think about "what if" I had started 10 years ago instead 4. "What if" I had known about CICO 10 years ago and importance of strength training but then I realize, maybe I would've mentally burned out. Even now sometimes I am at the edge of burning out mentally. I…

It was just disheartening seeing "all that" for what? Isn't there a rule even for us general public that we have to keep pushing? "progressive overload" wouldn't that be same as them? Literally called "overload" lol. I mean i didn't stop working out, I just started feeling like "meh"

General wellness and increase of muscle mass at a sustainable pace. Also need to lose my last 5 kg. That's about it. I am not after big numbers anymore lol
-
Thank you. I've do drink oat milk tea daily but I guess I can start with actual oat milk as well. Will start adding steamed veggies to my calories and apple. No matter how much weight a person lifts in the gym and suddenly something like this makes one feel the weakest human on planet. Lol

Magnetic therapy is what it is apparently called.

Lol I've been travelling a lot and I thought if I could include "those" items in my diet it'll aid in keeping my weight under control. I guess not lol
-
I assume the short lived effect is also of negligible percent and shouldn't be worried about eh
-
Lol I just saw it on netflix and first place I came to ask about it was here. I think another thing most people's brain (like mine back in the day) ended up doing was- someone looks jacked and is lifting copious amounts of weight -ergo that diet is the magic diet. One major factor for their physical looks and performance…

3-4 people so far lol. I've been here for almost 3 weeks now and I'm still in awe - how majority of people here are "fit". Perhaps it's also due to the fact that I'm coming from North American which is going through obesity epidemic lol
-
I'm heading down there as well, eventually. You guys love your coffee here eh. Maybe very few people on here because everyone is fit or busy socialising outside in the nice weather. I flew here just when it had snowed back home.

lol so far I've had my carbs at 120 grams or less. I've noticed when I try to restrict a macro like this- I try to eat nutritionally better versus if I simply look at caloric consumption. Workouts don't seem like they have suffered but I guess I'd only know once I raise carbs up to like 300g or something. On workout days I…

So basically inexpensive and tasty are the reason why bulk on carbs should be done? I really used to think they had something "special" in them SMH
-
btw I'm still fairly regular however, the stuff that comes out of me seems like is made out of concrete because it just wouldn't flush. I have to throw in like sulphuric acid and couple of hand grenades to get rid of the waste. I will have to start taking fiber supplements. I am taking Magnesium as well.

Just a way to make sure that I gain size without over abundance of excessive fat coming along. That's what I am looking for. I can and will probably do 250 cals extra over maintenance however, if I start eating carbs I'll gain all the water weight that I had lost from previous weeks of low carbs. It's funny - i've been 500…

lol haha. Surprisingly I've faced zero of the listed issues here. Maybe they suit well for me? Or perhaps because they were in raw form. No clue but no side effects thankfully.

This is stupendous. I thought when I finally learned about CICO for cutting -I was done. If I'd need to bulk -I'd just do the opposite and I'm all set but there is so much to learn. It's like I know nothing at all. Whatever happened to eat, lift, sleep get big then cut. I am thinking of following Lyle Mcdonald's diet -4…

Did anyone read this? https://bodyrecomposition.com/muscle-gain/muscle-gain-math.html/#more-13913 lol it's like the optimal eating for least amount of fat gain-a person shouldn't eat more than 5200 calories a month for muscle gain for beginner 3500 for Intermediate which would be me.

Just an update Yesterday was my day 5 out of 42 days that I had originally planned. However, the amount of responses I've received against it goes to show I once again fell for internet "magic diets" - ones that I used to fall for before I knew about CICO. I am ending it today. Thank you all , once again for teaching me…
-
Yes, you may be right- I just wanted to see if I could do it lol
-
I do not think I'll continue this any further. I've done 5 days out of my planned 42 everyone is saying this isn't anything more special than a simple high protein diet. I've probably should've never started because everyone was saying there isn't any point but I just wanted to see if I could even do it lol. I still want…

I had 6 eggs scrambled with vegetables mixed in it along with Rotisserie chicken pieces. Tasted good although it could because I've been consuming raw so everything would taste good lol.
-
Yeah 36 raw, I gulp 6 at a time and then another 6 in a different glass. However it was getting boring so I blend 12 together and put half scoop of Casein protein and 250ml 1% milk and voila. Also, you all may be right, however, I feel like if I give up now, I'm just weak. Also, it doesn't taste like anything. In the…

So I may have made a mistake. It's suppose to go up slowly from 12 to 24 then 36 - I went straight head on with 36 a day. Also they are suppose to be raw. It's those eggs plus protein from other places- like chicken, beef etc Also, the diet prescribes to carb load every 3 day - Mon-Tues then Wed carbs as well. According to…

What are the symptoms? I did follow your advice and started literally drinking salt with water. Like I'll put a tsp of salt in water and gulp it down and did that today as well.

Finished my first day and I feel like giving up already. It isn't THAT hard but my work timings have me consuming a lot of them in one sitting which is the reason why I am wondering what may happen. If I'll break down- although actual diet recommends going up slowly lol like 12 eggs a day then 24 then 36 . By the science…

So just had 6 raw eggs and swallowed em. Another 6 in noon. Also had 6 boiled ones. I guess 12 raw eggs a day would be a risk eh. I guess I can just put al 12 in a plate and then microwave them. First day today. I'm sure I'll get used to it. Hopefully.
-
Just wanted to confirm. Eating raw eggs isn't harmful in any way shape or form. Right? I'll be starting Oct 11 until Nov 22-2018 I'll add occasional bacon and butter in scrambled eggs or coffee with just cream. Also, btw sugar free energy drinks ok or they may skew something?
-
btw 36 eggs have like 36g of carbs. I thought eggs didn't have any carbs and only had protein and fat. Based on this I won't be able to have any other carb related item. Like peanut butter or almond milk in my smoothie or chocolate milk with eggs.
