Thank you so much baconslave and kpk54. . I don't mind putting on some water weight because I know that will come off. We are going to Portugal and I plan on eating a lot of the steak cooked on the stones where they give you your own seasonings. I will ensure I add lots of salt. Luckily for me, I don't really drink that…

I'm preparing to start this by the end of the week and I'm really hopinh this works. I'm a bit nervous that I am going to do it wrong (not so much the carbs but eating too much calories etc). I guess when your mind is taught to eat low cal to lose weight its hard to switch gears. Hopefully, like everything else once you do…

You are my goals -seriously. The only exception is I would like to get to about 160 (currently 180) faster than 0.5 a week, but once that is gone I am happy with a low number per week. What you are doing is sustainable to me so that gives me hope that I may be able to do similar :) IDK but somewhere along the line I forgot…

This has been a good food for thought post for me. I was doing MFP last year and did ok but I got so fed up trying to make meals I liked and stay within my set goals. I have started again and while I am at 1200/day I will look at it differently. I have already hooked up my fitbit to my account and I will use those extra…

Thanks for the replys. The only reason I questioned it was because when you click finish on a days entries the weight I "could be" isn't as good if I go over my protein. Knowing I can go over this makes me extremely happy :) I won't go super crazy or anything but so many times I had to re-do my meal plans solely based on…

I have a question if someone can help as I find nutrition talk confusing a lot of the time. I did read through the thread but it wasn't clear to me... I am currently on about 1200 calories, 60g Protein and I feel like when I am putting my weekly plans together I am always over on protein and need to change things around. I…

Not crazy but date showed up in white tank top & camo shorts, with flip flops and dirty feet. Hit on the waitress the whole meal. As we left the restaurant he shrieked (literally) as it started to rain and crammed under my umbrella and then asked how we were getting to my apartment (NOT HAPPENING!!!) Worst job you had

Butternut squash lasagna sheets from Tesco and Waitrose I'm a Canadian living in the UK and I find it hard as a lot of recipes I find are from Canada/US so sometimes there is no substitutes. I am learning to find lower calorie ways to have things though. I love bread and potato chips so when I really need something I have…

These have made me laugh! Not good when I am supposed to be working I follow a lady on Instagram who makes these amazing looking dishes she calls "Bubble Ups". Its basically canned biscuit dough, chopped into pieces with other ingredients. However I no longer live in Canada and can't find the dough here in the UK, so I…

I made an amazing lasagna using Butternut Squash sheets rather than lasagna noodles. I was expecting it to be horrible (I'm not a veggie lover) but it was amazing. I'd almost say better than normal lasagna. Will be making it again for sure. I bought them from Tesco. As long as they make them I will be experimenting with…
