Eat whenever you want to eat. I regularly skip breakfast or just have a cup of coffee so I can have more calories later in the day. I've lost over 50lbs... do what works for you!

I make wraps for lunch almost every day at work. They're one of those foods that's customizable enough that I don't get bored of them, and I love them enough to eat them all the time! My local store brand has a whole wheat tortilla that's 110 calories, and I push them to the limits for how many veggies I can get in them.…

One of my biggest cuts was bread as a side dish. I used to make crescents, garlic bread, or biscuits 4-5 nights a week as a side to my dinner, and I think I've only had them twice in the past 6 months. Pop Tarts, regular soda, nuts, desserts in general, cheese as a snack, pretzels, chips... the list goes on and on. My…

I bought some new clothes that I thought looked great on me. I took a few pictures of myself because I was feeling so confident... and promptly deleted them. I looked like a whale.

I've been seeing this a lot too. One of my FB friends is doing no meat, no carbs, no sugar, no fun. She just started Monday and already she's complaining about issues with it. I've talked to her about MFP before, but no luck. Nobody told me that it would be so hard to sit on the sidelines and watch others be how I used to…

I've been keeping one size up, but anything more than that I've been donating. I'm comfortably fitting into 14 size jeans, so the 18s all made their way into my Goodwill box. I've been having a hard time finding work clothing at secondhand stores, so that's been more of a struggle than I thought it would be. I've found…

Regular for me is 2-3 times per day. Usually after morning coffee, and a few smaller ones after lunch and dinner. Regarding the Squatty Potty: I used to work with a physical therapist who specialized in pelvic floor therapy - basically anything to do with issues "down there." She was a HUGE supporter of it and was even…

Already been mentioned but my favorite is Celestial's Bengal Spice. So much cinnamon flavor, it's just lovely. I love it with a bit of raw honey and a splash of milk. I used to be only a big coffee drinker, and I found that most teas just didn't pack the flavor punch I was looking for. Took some time for me to find ones…

I eat a lot of wraps at work... turkey, ham, tuna, ect. Put a little cheese and a ton of veg on them with some spicy mustard and you're good to go! I like to make a big batch of brown rice or quinoa on the weekend and then add some kind of protein to it for lunch - easy to travel with and microwave quickly and you can…

Been a little while... figure this thread needs a revival!

I stopped buying lunch at my work cafeteria and started bringing my own. Before, I was easily eating 1000 calories for lunch. Now I'm pretty regimented under 400 every day.

I was once told that you shouldn't drink water for at least half an hour after working out because it would stop your body from burning off the fat. The longer you went without water, the more you burned.

Use the guided setup on MFP and set it to a 2lbs per week loss and see what your goal should be. Eat those calories. All of them. Eat whatever you want so long as it fits in those calories (even ice cream, carbs, whatever bad thing other diets say is the devil... doesn't matter so long as it fits). Weigh and measure your…

I didn't log. Christmas day I had a huge breakfast, skipped lunch, and had a moderate dinner so probably not too bad on that front. My issue was the sweets. Everyone and their mother gave us Christmas cookies this year, so the feeling of, "it's a holiday - I can do what I want!" plus PMS made for a bit of a disaster as far…

Out of sight, out of mind. I'm hiding Christmas treats in drawers at work, and in my cupboards at home. So long as I don't see them sitting on my desk or counter tops, I tend to ignore them! I did change my weight loss rate from 2lbs per week down to 1 and that has helped a lot too. Those extra calories make me feel like…

Easiest tasty marinade I use is light Italian salad dressing. I've made fancy ones before with balsamic and half my spice rack, but I keep coming back to this!

I've never even heard of that... it looks similar, though not quite. This was definitely store made, and it had HUGE slices. I might have to go find some recipes for malt bread though...

I can't stand those little chalky Valentines hearts candies.

Cream Puff Dessert is a staple around my house and it's always a crowd pleaser: https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/vanilla-cream-puff-dessert I'm also a big fan of peanut butter pie.

We're having ugly sweater day at work today. I pulled mine out of the back of the closet and wore it to work, and I can't believe how many comments I've had telling me that I'm drowning in it! It's hard to believe that it fit perfectly last year at this time... guess I need to go find a new ugly sweater!

Reading this is making my mouth water... I might have a bread addiction. The best bread I've had recently was actually at a hotel on their continental breakfast. They had this cinnamon raisin sliced bread that was just to die for. Super dense, chewy, and loaded with raisins... toasted up with some butter, it was like…

I walk my golden retriever at least 1-2 miles every night. I'm down about 50lbs and I know he has lost weight too. Walking is the only purposeful exercise I do and I wouldn't have been able to do it without my big buddy by my side!
-
I feel your pain! Started losing weight because clothes were too tight, got super excited when they fit again, and now they don't fit because they're too big! I'm trying to make do with as little as I can while I'm still losing... got two new pairs of work pants that I alternate every other day (now being worn with a…

I love being outside doing anything... yard work, gardening, walking the dog, washing the car, you name it! Give me a beautiful day and I'll find something to do with it!
-
I LOVE this idea! I'd throw in some good socks, your favorite low calorie snacks, maybe even some recipe cards for your favorite big batch meals with the calories already calculated out for meal prep days to make it easy to begin.

I get the busy schedule thing... crazy dog mom here too, plus I have a hectic work schedule that keeps me running. I've been following MFP for almost 5 months now and logging everything I eat. The only purposeful exercise I do is walking - nothing else. I walk a mile on my lunch break, and I walk my dog every evening after…

I bought a pair of workout pants to actually work out in... not only just for lounging. I don't really know what size I am right now and I ordered them online so I couldn't try them on. I took a chance and ordered them in a size smaller than what I thought I might be, figuring if nothing else they'll fit in the…

I'll be skipping the green bean casserole, rolls, and cranberry sauce... but I'll be having an extra glass of wine and a bigger piece of pie!

I've done little rewards for myself as I went along. New shiny water bottle at 20lbs lost, workout clothes at 30lbs down, a bracelet at 40lbs, ect. Nothing crazy or expensive, but just something that's a pat on the back for a job well done. I try to stay away from food as a reward because it's just an excuse for me to eat…
