Mushrooms Raw fish (I LOVE sushi, but can only handle very small amounts of raw fish - it's a texture thing) Eggplant Cucumbers Raw Onion Spinach I always say I'm not a picky person, but when it comes to these few I don't budge... I wish I enjoyed them, but I just don't at all!

We always make Ritz Cracker cookies. Peanut butter between two Ritz crackers dipped in vanilla almond bark. We'd usually put some fun Christmas sprinkles on top. No bake, easy to make, and oh-so-tasty!

Long time lurker on this thread... figured I'd throw my 2 cents in too. I purchased 3 of these syrups after seeing the hype on here - Vanilla, Glazed Donut, and Peppermint Bark (I'm a sucker for anything peppermint flavored). The vanilla was good, nothing too special or out of this world. The donut was.... not very good.…

- That needing smaller "clothes" isn't just about shirts and pants. You need an entirely new wardrobe... underwear, bras, shoes, and jewelry don't fit like they used to. - How much fun it is finding new muscles you never knew you had. - How shocking it can be to see those muscles for the first time. - That some days you…

SW: 248.0 (when I joined this thread - original weight was 265) CW: 219.6 28.4lbs down for this challenge and 45.4 lost total! I MADE IT! I had an amazing week this past week... Big woosh and here we are! Next week I'll be travelling and I'm sure I'll probably go up a bit, but I'm happy with how far I've come.

When I just need a little something I have sugar free Jell-O cups on hand (10 calories) or sugar free chocolate pudding cups (60 calories). I like fiber one brownies too. I keep individually wrapped chocolates around and just restrict myself to 1-2 pieces. Basically anything that comes in an individual size so I can't…

Like others have said - start slow, be honest with yourself, and you can do it! You don't need to exercise (at all) to lose weight. Does it help? Sure, but at your weight just eating less will be more than enough to help you start losing weight. Get a food scale, log everything that you eat honestly, and you'll see…

Figure out what you want and stick with it. We looked at TONS of houses that would be perfect if we "just took this wall out here" or whatever it was. But I had to be honest - I wasn't going to have the money or skill to do any of that stuff, so we waited for something that didn't need fixing up to come along. Now I have a…

Soup! Those Bear Creek soup mixes are generally around 100-120 calories per cup, and super easy to make. They're high in sodium, but if I need something fast and filling I'm not above using them for a quick dinner. I like the chicken tortilla one: I add rotisserie chicken for protein and sometimes I'll add in some potatoes…

SW: 248.0 (when I joined this thread - original weight was 265) CW: 223.5 24.5lbs down for this challenge and 41.5 lost total! SO CLOSE to 25lbs lost. 2 and a half weeks until Thanksgiving! I'm going on a trip for 5 days the week before Thanksgiving and I have a feeling that my weight is going to jump up afterwards, so I'm…

I like to eat it plain, add a bit of spicy salsa, or add bacon bits! Maybe not the healthiest thing ever, but, mmm.... bacon.

Breakfast: Coffee with creamer, protein cheesecake (my inner fat kid loves dessert for breakfast) Lunch: Progresso Light Creamy Chicken Alfredo soup, fresh cantaloupe Dinner: Vegetable pot stickers and Edamame Snacks: Banana, more coffee, and I have a pint of Halo Top calling my name!

My husband sounds a lot like yours. He has a highly physical job so he can eat and eat and eat. I try to really limit my breakfast/lunch so that I can indulge at supper with him. I have two small meals, hardly any snacks, and I can make whatever I want for supper and make it work. I still eat smaller portions than him, but…

SW: 248.0 (when I joined this thread - original weight was 265) CW: 224.2 23.8lbs down for this challenge and 40.8 lost total! Made it to a mini personal goal of 40lbs lost this week. SO EXCITED. Give me another week or two and I'll meet this challenge. After that, I'm shooting for 50lbs lost total by Christmas.…

Use MFP to calculate your calories per day and stick to eating at a calorie deficit. Invest in a food scale and weigh and log everything you eat. How much you lose and how much you can eat depends on your size - no one thing will work for everyone. I lost over 40lbs for my wedding, and one thing I learned was not to get…

I'll add you! Diary's open and I'm a big home cook. I usually add most of my meals to the recipe builder to get a more accurate count. Just let me know if you want a recipe. :)

I find that if I restrict myself too much then I end up binging on something and overeating anyways, so it's best to just give in a little. I like halo top ice cream, a bar of Dove chocolate, or a cup of hot cocoa. Basically anything that has a decent serving size and doesn't allow me to cheat more (like a pan of…

SW: 248.0 (when I joined this thread - original weight was 265) CW: 226.9 21.1lbs down for this challenge and 38.1 lost total! Had a super crappy food weekend, but I pulled it together this week and stayed under my calories every day! Keep up the good work everyone!

Leftovers tonight! I have chicken fajita pasta, vegetable beef soup, and creamed chicken in the fridge. So some kind of mixture of those things, haha.

I don't bother logging my vitamins, but I did log my cough drops when I was sick. 17 calories each and I think the worst day I ate like 10 of them, so they added up!

Took a while, but my husband is really getting behind me now because he sees how important it is for me to stick with it. Every night I walk a mile or two with the dog, and every night I invite him to come along. He always says no, and I figure it's his choice and I'll never force him to come along. Last night I made it…

Sent you a friend request! I'm on my second go-around here - lost a bunch, gained it all back, and I'm working on it again! Love to have more friends for motivation and support. :)

I work in a hospital, and the other day one of the doctors I work with on a daily basis commented on my weight loss. She told me my face looked so much slimmer! I've lost over 30lbs and she's the first comment I got from someone who didn't know I've been working on it. Feels great!!

Weighed in this morning! SW: 248.0 (when I joined this thread - original weight was 265) CW: 230.8 17.2 lbs down for this challenge and 34.2 lost total. :) The holidays are coming... we can do it!

Hey girl - I'm sending you a friend request! You sound a lot like me when I started on here. I started out at 265 and I've always been a yoyo dieter too. I'm down over 30lbs just following MFP and eating at a calorie deficit. Invest in a food scale, be honest with you logging, try to hit your calorie goal every day, and…

Friday weigh-in results: SW: 248.0 (when I joined this thread - original weight was 265) CW: 234.8 Total lost: 13.2 for this challenge. Great work so far, everyone!

Greek yogurt and honey, coffee, and vanilla creamer.

There's a Chicken Fajita Pasta that my husband and I LOVE. Not the healthiest thing in the world, but it sure tastes good! Look up the blog Kevin & Amanda and you should find it.

I second roasting them! I like making a big batch on the weekend, then I can bring them in lunches all week or add them into whatever I feel like. They're crispy right out of the oven, and nice and soft over time after re-heating. I usually do them at 425 degrees on a sheet pan with just some olive oil, salt, and pepper on…

Mine's "cranberry" - a dark pink. Very pretty to look at, but I usually keep a cover on it to keep it clean. I love using mine to shred chicken or pork (cook it in the crock pot and throw them in with the paddle attachment). I use mine to whip mashed potatoes too. Else it's mostly cookies and things I shouldn't be eating.…
