I got married at 30, 2 weeks after we started dating. We just had our 22nd anniversary- though sometimes I'd like to run him over with the car ;) You've got PLENTY of time. Don't fret- love your life, be free, eat snacks in bed!

Meal planning is just a small amount of organizing and giving yourself a couple of hours to prep. So worth it. I suggest, if you want ideas on how/ what, just look at social media. Pinterest is a great resource on batch prep (freezer meals). Instagram is great to see what others do #MealPrep #SundayMealPrep Most people…

Do not cut your calories, I'd even suggest adding more. I believe your body isn't being fed enough for the amount of energy you're expending. And at 5'9" and 146, I'd say you're on the lean side to start with. Without photos or body comp numbers it would be hard to give more specific advice.

Nothing. "Two earphones in, don't talk to me. One earphone in, don't talk to me. No earphones, don't talk to me"

Save your money, buy shoes when you hit your goals :)

Perhaps go to your local bike shop (if there is one) and try out a variety of bike styles. I thought I was a mtn bike rider until I tried a commuter/ hybrid. I went with a more ergo- upright that I use daily to commute and run errands. Once you find your comfort style, start looking instead of buying something that in a…

My last nutritionist told me to stop drinking coffee (I drink 1 a day, when I wake). I was also training for a tri. She's no longer my nutritionist but coffee is still around.

And remember, just because it's labeled "Vegan" doesn't mean it's healthy. Ruffles chips are vegan. Focus on a whole foods, plant based diet. Prepare your own meals and you will know what is exactly in them.

Save your money- eat more salads.

I work in a hospital and am mandated to get the flu shot. I'd get it anyway. I've never had negative reactions and if it helps great, if not... I'm taking a week off :)

I'm 'only' 50 but I'm in it for the long haul. And in better shape now than ever. I run, bike, row and olympic weight lift. I'm in better shape now than most 30 year olds I know. To say older people should slow down or not be active in whatever capacity they choose is ridiculous. Age is a blessing and I'm here on this…

I bake a lot and I'm covered in tattoos... ironically I don't like sweet things, just the baking of them.

There are no quick fixes or miracle shots. Anyone can lose weight starving themselves. 500 calories a day isn't even enough to maintain proper organ function. No one will maintain that though. Stop dieting. Learn to meal prep and start some cardio/ weight training. Start slow, you want to figure what works for the long…

Go workout- you'll feel better afterwards. Tired but you'll be happy you did. And drink water!

Squats. Squats. Squats. And remember, you can't spot reduce- you will lose fat from all over as you tone.

This is my favourite commercial veggie burger. :)

If you're hungry, eat. Not eating will not do you any favours. You're active and nursing. Listen to your body, it knows.

No supplements, no pills, no shakes. There is no miracle pill, there is no quick fix. Eat well, eat clean, move more. Don't waste your money.

I am also 50. I suggest speaking to your physician. This also happens to me and it's just... *gasp*... peri-menopause. Hot flashes are next ;)

My son (18) and husband still ate everything in sight when I went plant based 2 years ago. I didn't make a big deal of it, just modified my meals and kept making theirs. A month ago they stood in front of me and asked me to not buy them cow's milk or anymore meat. My face hit the floor with shock. It's a big more prep work…

You have to make the time and make your health top priority. I too work in emerg health care, teen son, husband, specials needs dog (but I love her). My number 1 best thing I do is meal prep. All my weekly lunches and a couple of dinners for the week. I let my husband and son fend for themselves a couple days a week- they…

I believe we could all use support and new friends. Also please feel free to add me.

My left *kitten* cheek needs 1200 calories a day :) I just don't think you're eating enough, nor eating as well as you could. Cut out snacks and add better mini meals in. I'm not sure you exercise or what kind of exercise you do, so perhaps your end game is different than some of us on here. Exercising is easy, dialling in…

I'm 5'3", 49 (so close to 50...) and quite active. I run daily and olympic weight lift. Because of that I maintain around 145-150 lbs and consume 1600- 2200 real food calories daily. I feel I could lose another 5 lbs of fat maximum. Please remember that muscle is far more dense than fat (they weigh the same don't forget. A…

Mine would be called "Hoovering"

I get it. I work in a hospital and we do what we have to do.

This *points up* is how it's done. Meal prepping has changed the game for me and my family. No more making bad choices or grabbing something that isn't going to benefit me. And I always look foward to my lunches now. And at home the words "What's for dinner?" have disappeared. Best 4 hours every Sunday afternoon of my life.

I meal prep for the week. You will not regret putting in a few hours of planning/ cooking. And the amount of time you will save yourself is beautiful.

You are doing so well! The biggest struggles we have will be in our own brain and we have to retrain ourselves to be our biggest supports. You got this- we've got your back!
