My favorite lunch is to have leftover dinner from the night before. While cleaning up dinner I pre-portion leftovers. Then in the morning I just grab one plus an apple or yogurt or something. Super easy! Lately I'm also into those tofurky fake deli meat slices. Usually I make a sandwich the night before so it's ready to…

Hi everyone, it's already a week into January, can't believe it. I met my goal weight before Christmas, and somehow managed to maintain it during a 2 week break from logging and exercising. (..and eating all the things) Since getting back from vacation I've been sick with a cold, so I'm still not back on track. Goals for…

Maybe because I stopped working out? Thanks @rianneonamission for the words of…

Hi everyone, hope you're enjoying the season. I wanted to come check in because I'm struggling. I'm on day 3 of 6 of staying with my mom at home and I feel out of control! I've eaten over maintenance by a significant amount everyday, with Christmas Eve and Christmas still to come. Normally I really wouldn't care at all,…

I am taking a two week break from working…

I add a tablespoon of grape jelly. Makes it nice and sweet for only 50 extra calories.

@avskk that all doesn't sound too bad, especially considering you're sick! Breakfast: A scoop of protein powder with skim milk Lunch: leftover veggie lasagna, baby carrots, plain Greek yogurt with grape jelly Dinner: Not sure yet. Maybe nachos with leftover refried beans. Snacks will definitely include banana bread, as I'm…

I started on Lexapro a couple months ago, 5 milligrams. Now I'm up to 10 milligrams. I've continued to lose weight while on this medication. P.S. warm thoughts to you, mental illness is the worst. I hope lexapro helps you.

This doesn't sound a lot different than my dumbbell routine. I log it under cardio-weightlifting, for however many minutes.

What is your plan since you've completely blown through your goal?…

Maybe you should increase your calories by around 250 per day. You will technically be at a slower loss rate, but it sounds like your current rate of loss isn't sustainable. I'm losing right now at around .3 pounds per week, it is very very slow, but I don't feel deprived at all.
-
Both of those strategies could work. I went out to a place yesterday that doesn't list calories, and found what I hope to be a comparable entry from a different restaurant. I try to overestimate in this situation.

I would just quick add 600-700 calories. Or 1.5 servings of something similar.

OP, I feel you! I recently became conscious of my low-ish protein consumption. I'm trying now to hit about 90 grams on days that I lift weights (about .8 gram per pound of lean body weight). I can only do it if I drink a protein shake made with milk, Greek yogurt as a snack, and being very conscious of my other meals.

I have an app on my phone for my grocery list. Whenever I run out of a staple it goes on the list. I read the flyer and add produce items that are on sale to my list. I also add additional fruits/vegs that are generally low cost (and in season). I pick out what I want to make, check if I have any of the ingredients…

Some of the things you mentioned are staples for me: Chili, lentil soup, veggie soups. I also like doing tofu stir fried with veggies. Sometime served with rice, and sometimes without for less calories. Frittata is lower calorie than a quiche. I also like loaded baked potatoes for a meal. A baked potato topped with beans,…

Hi everyone, I'm happy to be back for December. I will be using my trending weight, as I think it more accurately describes my progress. I'm choosing some slightly random weigh-in days, knowing I have some travel plans at the end of the month! I'll be staying with family for several days around Christmas, and then a week…

I like the Fitness Marshall, he is very entertaining! (It's on YouTube)

Yep, no exercise is needed for weight-loss, only a calorie deficit. Also, is your hubby helping out with the cleaning/cooking? In my experience us women need to insist our male counterparts pitch in their fair share. Just sounds like you might be overwhelmed by those aspects of life. It's something I need to work on too!
