Quit smoking! When you feel the urge for a smoke take a walk! I quit smoking after more than 40 years of Marlboros and started to try to eat healthier at the same time. It wasn't easy but can be done.

See your physician ASAP!! You may need to decrease your BP mess. WIth weight loss and increased exercise I have significantly lower blood pressure and have been able to eliminate 2 medications.

Healthy foods do not have to be expensive! Do you know how to cook? If not I would advise that you learn! Experiment. Plenty of produce can be found at farmers markets,the dollar stores and even the clearance area at your neighborhood Kroger,Albertsons etc. You don't have to eat salads to be healthy. I just had to stash a plastic container of brownies that my husband made off the kitchen counter into a cabinet where I can't see them every time I walk by! I do have to give myself credit for putting them away without opening the lid.LOL!

Weight loss ,DASH diet and exercise have successfully lowered my high blood pressure. Preparing your own meals vs eating out is also helpful to control your sodium intake. Good luck!

A YumYum coconut donut is 240 calories. I eat 1/2 and then freeze the other half for another day! Cures the craves for me.

I am loving buying fresh produce at our local 99 cent store! Fresh asparagus,mini peppers,broccoli all for $.99. Asparagus was $3.99 a lb at our local Whole Foods store this week so I passed it up. Always shop grocery store sales for meats,fish,poultry.

Yup it is still there just past the McD's and Chipolte on the strip. Recently renovated and it is on the second floor essentially above a new Walgreens.Good table service and good prices. You have to ask for $2-4-6-8 menu. They may be phasing it out. Just there mid July.

I make my sandwiches with Nature's Own whole wheat bread that has 40 calories a slice. I enjoy mozzarella,tomato and fresh basil or spinach sandwiches.

Have you seen a physician about your fatigue? Be sure to get checked out before extreme diet change to rule out diabetes,thyroid issues etc. I take an occasional stool softener if constipated and dried prunes,dates or dried apricots don't work for me. Good luck on your quest for healthy lifestyle change!

I googled this since I was curious and yes it can change your personal body odor. I also wonder whether it is a supplement that your body really needs? Seems to be a lot of controversy......

Ice cream is my downfall too! Always easier to snitch an extra spoonful or two out of a carton which you can't do with individual ice cream bars or sandwiches. Too cut back on fat I have been getting Outshine fruit bars instead.
