Hi guys! I just wanted to update everyone about my dress! My seamstress has brought my dress up and it looks beautiful. I expressed my concerns in person about it being too tight as I couldn't take a deep breath. I tried it on and I was able to sit in it, walk in it and she put two fingers in the back of my dress to show…

Thank you for explaining it better!

Listen, I understand what you are trying to say. But it's the seamstress job to take my measurements and make sure whatever style of dress I want- matches to those measurements. Whether it's a size 7 or a size 10. It's not as if I told her I was a size 7! The measuring tape does not lie about what measurement you are and…

Im was a street 7. I am now a size 6 probably less now. And my seamstress was talking about lifting up my dress as the height of it was too long which she also got wrong. She made it 2cms taller then I needed. I was concerned that by her lifting in close to my stomach, it would make the dress tighter. I suggested that she…

Well she had measured me with a measuring tape! So I don't know how she got it wrong! She even sent me my measurements and I'm actually smaller the the measurements she sent me- as I had to lose weight to fit into the dress. Waist- 25.5 inches Hips- 35 inches My waist is 24 inches now and my hips are 32 inches. I don't…

I really, really appreciate everyone's comments. I think I was going crazy with stress... I emailed my seamstress and said that I'll try the dress on this Friday and I will reevaluate it then. (I love my food and I definitely want to enjoy my wedding day food!) I'll keep you all updated with the end results. Thank you!

You definitely have a fair point. I guess she always makes me feel that I've put on the weight and therefore it my fault. It's hard for me to be assertive and I'm paranoid that maybe I did put on the weight, despite calorie counting and checking my measurements religiously. I think I've gotten to the point now that I have…

My seamstress keeps telling me not to gain weight or lose weight and that it's a perfect size. It's really messing with my head. I quite like breathing... So you think I should keep as is as it will loosen on it's own?

It's amazing out work colleagues can justify commenting on another colleagues weight. I am 49kgs and only just hit above 5 foot. I've been working really hard to eat healthy and exercise. I get told by work colleagues that I'm looking too skinny and I need to eat more and by other work colleagues asking if I'm pregnant…

Hello! I would say that yes i am active every day, all day. I'm a nurse on a rotating roster and I average around 10000 steps a day and I go to the gym before or after work 5 times a week for an hour. On weekends I either go mountain bike riding or a 5k job around the lake. I wouldn't say I was fit, I'm just determined and…

I too wanted to lose weight for my wedding or rather, I had to due to my seamstress ordering in the a size 6 instead of a size 7! And I have successfully lost 6kgs. I, however, gave myself 6 months to do it and it was a lot of heart ache, tears and work! I don't think it's plausible to lose 9kg in 2 months, I know I…

What's low? My step calorie count? I'm pretty sure I've set it to active like everyone else have suggested. This make sense! Thanks guys!
-
Haha, it's funny how you put that "you still got fat" girl you crack me up! I only put down actual exercise such as running or riding the bike ect.
-
Yeahhh like everyone else is saying, if you're on 1200 and struggling to eat them then you're not measuring your food accurately. I'm a tiny person on a 1300 calorie diet and I'm always hungry. Trust me, measure your food with a scale. I can bet my unborn child that you aren't measuring correctlyyyyy!
-
Wow! That sounds amazing! And do you exercise and eat back your calories?
-
That sounds awesome! But how can you fit that into a 1200 calorie diet?! Do you eat back your calories when you exercise? Also, I'm a bit new to this site, how do I view your diary?
-
This is 100% true! Wow! I'm a nurse and despite being surrounded by health professionals, most of them are over weight. I've never been over weight but I did go through a phase of being chubby for a bit. I have now lost 6kgs in 9-6 months and I go to work and people tell me I look too thin or I'm losing weight to fast.…

I am now on 1300 calories a day. I was on 1000-1200 calories a day but I just got to exhausted as I'm a full time nurse and exercise 5 times a week. I meal prep every weekend with my fiancé. I have one cheat meal a week but I still try to stay within my calorie count on my cheat meal, although it's difficult! I've been…

It's insane to me to eat back my exercise calories? As I don't know how many calories I've lost and wouldn't that defeat the purpose of exercising as well as eating low calories?
-
I'm the healthiest I've ever been. I meal prep all my food and I have lots of veggies, fruits and protein during the day! The only things I cut out are unnatural sugars, processed foods and junk food. I exercise this much because it feels good to be fit and active. I've been on this diet for 6 months now and I have only…

I go to the gym 5 days a week** mountain bike ride on the weekend and Aerial silks.

I do over 10000 steps a day with just my job on average. And I go to the gym every day for an hour. I have an I watch and it doesn't track it even though I have connected them together, it never tells me how many calories I've lost. I have to manually put it in and so I get annoyed and just put in my jog on the treadmill.…

I would do that but my dress has a very low back and it won't work! Otherwise I would have been all over that idea! Thanks for the suggestion though.

I was originally weighing everything with my scale but my fiancé broke it! Accidentally. I have bought a new one on eBay so when I food prep my meals this weekend it will be more accurate. But I'm still fairly sure I'm under 1300-1200 calories. I know it sounds strange but I wanted to be a size 6 anyway and I figured if I…

Thank you, I really needed to hear that! I think I'm just stressed and over thinking.

Thank you, no I have my next fitting on the 9th of September. The measurements she gave me I am under by an inch but I don't feel like she has given me the correct measurements... or I'm paranoid.
-
I've lost 6kgs already and currently am a size 6. What calories should I be? And to be able to lose 2 kgs?
-
Really? When I scanned the barcode that's what it came up with? So now I'm not even calculating my calories correctly... great
