  • I'm losing 4-8 pounds a weeks following the 2 pounds a week goal set on MFP. In 6 weeks I have lost 27.2 pounds and 2 of those weeks I did not lose anything. I am 273 pounds now.
  • I didn't say that, he was losing weight but increased his calories to an amount which he should still be losing but it stopped. I'm talking about when he increased his calories.
  • Starvation mode might be the wrong wording for it but your body does store everything you eat as fat when it's being deprived for a period of time. It does not stop storing over night, it takes time to change. So I refer to it as starvation mode but you can call it whatever you want.
  • I'm honestly new to this life style change as well but my guess would be that eatting so few calories (500-600) daily put your body into starvation mode.   • Thanks for the replies, I lost 10 pounds the first week and 2.5ish the last 2 weeks. It's just so annoying, obviously what I'm doing is working so I just don't understand why people tell you what to do or that what you're doing is wrong. Lol
  • I donit first thing in the morning after using the bathroom. Then I donit about 30 minutes later and it's always 1.5 pounds lighter. Lol but I still do it this way in case it doesn't go lighter lol
