hi Rebma, big congratulations on what you have achieved so far. i too have lost 150lbs, but still have 100lbs to go.... most of my weight has gone from my shoulders, back and bum, and inner thighs, and although it is also going from my stomach, i still have lots in my stomach area, and quite a large 'apron', but it is…

I haven't owned a TV for about 7 yrs, sounds like i'm still not missing much!!!..

its taken me 19months to lose 150lbs- (and i started out at 456lbs) that averages out about 1.9lbs a week, i would think that trying to lose that in 10 months is a hard ask. (I have been pretty focused on losing it for those 19 months too)
-
well done- you look great
-
i don't think it gets any easier for anybody, suddenly you look back, and in 12 months you've lost 'x' amount, but you have to give the process a chance to work. i've averaged roughly 1.9lbs a week, over 19 months with about 4 major plateau's, but when the weight wasn't going down my body shape and size was changing. lots…

when i was at my heaviest, 456lbs, every conversation would end with,'if you could lose some weight it would really help!', they were also suprised that i was never diabetic, and my cholesterol was low. But rather flatteringly after losing the weight that i have lost so far they asked me if i would talk to a group of…

i have had 3 in the last 4 weeks doing the same on here, one of whom befriended about 25 guys withing the first few days, ha ha, i have never done chat lines or internet dating sites etc, but when a really beautiful woman, starts chatting me up , i get suspicious! 2 of them show phone numbers for mitchigan,(i'm in uk) and…

when your mindset is right you can achieve anything . i made excuses for 49 yrs! unfortunately i never had a dancers body, ( unless you count the Elephant cake walk :) )and doubt i ever will! but getting fit is my focus for now. As you say putting it in writing gives you a new perspective ,even if it makes it scary and…

congratulations.

last 90days 20lbs lost.

its definately the lifestyle change that makes the differance, cutting out as much processed food as possible, and cutting the soda etc. Throw in some exercise, even if only walking and the weight will come off. But if you can change your mindset to that way of thinking then your battle is virtually won! i've just come…

congratulations, you look fabulous.

i also have a Nordic track cross trainer / eliptical- i bought mine from a local charity shop for £15. ( would have cost £700 new, as it was a semi commercial machine,). I needed a heavy duty model as i started out at over 200kg, a lot of the cheaper models are rated at 100kg or 120kg, ok for many people but something to…
