Every time I dieted it was one group or another of food which was banned. And it worked for a while because I foliowed it but then I would just forget about it and go crazy and start binge eating my way back to what I lost.. This is the first time I'm counting calories and eating whatever I want in whatever combo and I…

I need to loose about 20-23 kg. I am now 98 kg, but very tall - 183 cm. In March, when I started making some change, I was 105 kg. I subscribed to MFP on 25th of July since I needed to look out for my eating habits. So far so good.. We'll talk more after I see my results on August 25th.

You are not overweight but don't like how you like. I can understand that. Since you have such a small bone structure and normal weight, I would start resistance/weight training. I'm sure your skin and overall tone would be "better" ;)

Me too. At first, the scale wouldn't movr for two months, but I was loosong lots of cm/inches.

I'm also 6', and have 216 lbs. I eat 2000 cal this month 'cause I have an exam and sit a lot reading. But until that I was eating like 2200 daily and came to this weight from 230. I have to say though that I exercise daily - strength 3-4, hiit 1-2, and light cardio 1-2. If you want some exercise suggestions - check…

Oh and they plans are very cheap - like 15$

Hello! I recoment you go to fitnessblender.com make an account and establish your oun daily workouts. But I really think you should buy their 4-8 week plans. They are very good! I lost a lot of weight 2 years ago but didn't workout for some time and now back in the game. They actually made me love working out. Check them…

I lost weight on 2200. I am 183 cm and 98 kg. Sorry I don't know that in lbs and inch :D. Also I workout 5-6 times per week. So I am moderatly active. MFP reccomended I eat 2200 but this month I have to sit and study a lot so I will be eating 2000 just to be on the safe side.

I agree with few of the above. 1200 is waaaay too little. From my knowledge you need at least 1600 kcal to function properly, regardless of your height and weight. For example, I am 183 cm and I am 98 kg, but I was 105 kg. I actually started with 2200 kcals a day and now dropped to 2000 because I have to study a lot so I…

Lifestyle change is somewhat okish.. To be honest I changed quite a bit over the years.. For ex, I love working out now. I actually had a shoulder injury for a month and couldn't do my routines and I was a little depressed. Not because I felt guilty for not working out, but because I felt the need to, and all I could do…

Thank you! Your comment made me laugh  You can type whatever you want.. That's why I made this thread. To be honest, no matter what anyone sais, I trully believe moderation is the key and that we all need or have our days where carbs/protein/fat are queen. Depends on a lot of factors. Whatever makes you happy!

I looove homemade coconut milk! I never found coconut milk at the stores as plentiful as the one I make at home. I suggest you try that :-)

@earlnabby Don't be sorry. I'm happy to hear you found your own balance and chose to listen to your body... I think that as long as you feel ok and you get your carbs from healthy sources - like fruit and a little raw honey here and there, you'll do great on your fat loss journey and with your diabetes :-). Cristina Ps: I…

Thank you! I really need more real examples like yourself to motivate me to not give up. I always had problems with my weight and I lost some then gained some back and so forth. I never managed to get back on track. I had to pun on 10+ to start dieting again. The difference now is that I don't want a diet. I something for…

@Meelisv and @nokanjaijo - I agree with both of you. Clearly it's personal. And with all respect @nokanjaijo I shall not try keto - it just seems too drastic for me. Since I clearly couldn't live with 50-100g, most certainly I cannot with under 50. However, I find it interesting that some days I need carbs and other times…

Hey, @nokanjaijo - why do you limit your carb? Is it for health related issues or because, like @amyn73 said, you do it to not feel sluggish and reduce the risk of having cravings? To be honest, I read The Prima Blueprint and tried to limit my carbs between 50-100 g per day, but I just couldn't. To feel okish I need at…

Thank you for the feedback!! I perosnally don't think carb are the enemy or anything, especially because I only get it from frwah veggies and fruit, at most 1-2 tbsp of raw honey (which I don't eat everyday). It's just that I for now don't underatand the math behind counting macros for now. As I understood, I should be…

Thank you @kimny72. That was very helpful. Maybe some days, yes, I will want more protein, and others more fat and so on. So in a nutshell I will listen to my body and cravins in my calorie limit ^^. And I will also watch that the food I eat is of the best quality (I can afford ofc

I haven't. It reflects very well the diet industry. We are so preoccupied with listening to the so called specialist and forget to look inward. Veey good and funny :-)
