I’m on a 1,700 diet.

I’m at 5’5” and 228 lbs currently with around 80 lbs to go. I never changed my foods or my exercise. I exercise 7x a week at 20 minutes per day and lose about 2-3 lbs a week. I was hungry during 1700 calorie deficit at the beginning but after a few months I stopped feeling that way. I ate 566 calories per “meal” (snacks…

My doctor wanted me to have low sodium due to my blood work showing slightly high cholesterol. Besides, I intake way more than the limit which I assume is awful for my health.

Now it’s going wacky, again. It weighed me up to 240 the first time and the second time went back to 237. I weighed myself at one of those blood pressure and scale systems they had in my grocery store, yesterday. From gaining water weight and eating yesterday it says that I was 236. So the home scale is kind of accurate…

The doctors office can take me an hour of waiting or less of weighing. Because I know weight fluctuates I tend to not eat or drink anything if I know I’m going early in the morning. I don’t know if it truly stays the same when I do that. I weigh myself at home in between going to the doctors. Which would be every couple of…

Actually, if I were to go by a complete doctors scale of my weight loss, that would be three or so months passing. I would have lost 6 lbs from the time before till now.

I should say that my doctors scale is not a digital scale. It’s one of those scales with the sliders that you have to balance. No, before I go to the doctors office I always weigh myself on my home scale to see a difference(with and without shoes. About a week ago for once my scale lined up with the doctors scale. Usually…

The two numbers are from a doctors office scale and my home scale. The office scale is more reliable. Sometimes the home scale will change but it’s always above 235 lbs. Most of the time on a normal day it’s at 235.

I see, thank you for clearing that up for me!

I have ~80 more lbs to lose. Yeah, It's not like I'm working out vigorously depending some dances are moderate. The walking is new to my exercise, though.

So far I brought 6 basic v-neck t-shirts $3 each and a hoodie. I have some capris stored away from last year.

I want to add, a belt will not work too much as my butt is flat but my hips are wide. So, too many sizes down and everything hangs. But, I like everyone's suggestions as of now.

The reason why I'm doing this is because I want to start learning dance moves that require body and arm muscle strength in the future. I'm still in the process of losing weight and want to gain some muscle as I lose the appropriate amount. All of your replies are a big help to me!

Both, exactly. All I have are one lb weights and resistance bands at home.

@middlehaitch I dance as my main exercise, moderately at fifteen minutes a day. You may be right in getting new shoes. I lost weight at my feet too. My high tops are a bit heavy and without socks the bottoms are very flat. @StealthHealth I'm only a quarter near my goal of 111 lbs if that helps. I never lost over four lbs…

To add my feet also hurt when not on carpet, is this normal too?
