I love liver and onions but even if I have 1 bite it gives me a major gout attack. My old Italian grandmother used to make fried chicken livers and onions in oil and add hot red pepper flakes. Ahh, the memories. And the limping :(

I am down 75 pounds from my highest weight (269 pounds this morning) We are going on vacation towards the end of April and I would love to be at 260 or under by the time we leave.

My doctor diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes last April. My A1c was 9.0. He said I should cut back on sugar and non complex carbohydrates. I specifically asked him about fruit and vegetables and he said I should eat them. I followed his advice and by November I lost 40 pounds and my A1c was normal 4.7. This is what worked…

I started at 335 and this morning weighed in at 280. My original long term goal was to hit 275. I can't believe I'm almost there. Now 275 is my short term goal.

If I take your head off the "before" pictures I would swear that it was me. Your "after" picture has certainly inspired me more than you know. It shows me it is possible. Thank you!

A couple of years ago I couldn't walk from here to there without feet, ankles and knees hurting. The next day I would still be limping along. My wife bought me a pair of Skechers Go Walk shoes and my life changed almost immediately. I swear by them. Last November I walked for almost 4 miles without pain. They may not work…
