Are you weighing your banana and handful of nuts before you eat them? I would start there.

I have a job that keeps me super busy and running most of the day. I've found setting an alarm on my Fitbit to eat has been so helpful! I take 10 minutes to grab a snack/mini meal twice in the day and now I don't eat all of the things when I get home. ;)

I have done two and my experience was similar to the experiences above. I didn't lose weight but I learned a lot about some food sensitivities that I have.

I'm glad I asked about this- informative! Thanks for all the input. The higher quality brand is OmegaGenics EPA-DHA 720. It contains 430 mg of EPA and 290 mg of DHA. The recommendation on the bottle is 4/day. (I do 2 because I'm cheap, lol!) The Costco brand is Kirkland Alaskan Salmon Whole fish oil. 90 mg of EPA and 110…

I use a magnesium supplement called Natural Calm. I drink it after dinner and sleep so deeply! It made a huge difference for me.

I was also surprised. 2 different brands, no info. Thanks for your input! I will revisit the amount with my ND. Thin blood doesn't sound good at all!

If you love coffee, don't give it up! Do as others suggested and find a way to make it work in your calories.

This sounds incredibly frustrating! The end of the month can't come soon enough for you!

I get to the gym by 6am for a half hour of cardio then 25 minutes of small group training. It took some getting used to as I am NOT a morning person but I really like the extra calories I get to eat! :)

PC has some amazingly flavourful products. I'll have to check this out!

Omg, I would eat the whole bag!

That's actually a term coined by Melissa Hartwig, co-founder of the Whole30. I love it, too!

I don't like cheddar popcorn but the salty and sweet combo of the two is highly addictive (for me!). I've also always wondered where the name came from.

Costco sells a Chicago Mix (cheese and caramel corn) that is basically crack in a bag!
-
I try to avoid conversations about what I'm eating/not eating for this reason.
-
I so get it. "Just a few" chocolate covered almonds...until the bag is gone!
-
No, you definitely want to use a food scale for that!

I have played around with this to see what my body prefers. Lower calories on my two rest days has been an epic fail. It leads to feeling unwell, hangry and wanting all the crap food. Now, I just stick with my TDEE and I've continued losing at a steady pace.
-
Isn't it crazy?! I was also amazed at the difference in my eyeballing vs. actual weight.

I have PCOS and have found that a lower body weight (and BMI) along with regular exercise have kept my periods more regular. For me, regular is every 5-6 weeks. The more sedentary And heavier I am, the longer the span between them.

I measure, pack and log my food the night before so that I can basically function on autopilot Mon-Fri. 4:50am-Breakfast- 1 large egg and egg whites omelette with veggies; small dish of strawberries & blueberries; black coffee. I take a second black coffee for the car ride across town to the gym. 8am- post workout snack-…

I'm 5'2.5", started at 162lbs and noticed a difference around 15 lbs down.

If I'm finding a meal to be "meh", I will stop eating it. I'd rather eat something that I will really enjoy. Meh isn't worth the calories!

I LOVE my pregnant body! I am the most confident and feel the most beautiful when I'm rocking a baby bump. I focussed on healthy choices to fuel myself and get Baby off to a great start. This had me gain 35ish pounds each time.

Staying the course, day in and day out.

Wine, yes!

I get up at 4:50am so I can eat breakfast then go to the gym before work. My job has me on my feet all day and most days are really busy. Part of my evening routine is packing food for the next day. I precut berries and veggies on the weekends so that I just have to weigh it out and pack it up for the next day. I've seen…

@middlehaitch you are inspiring!

5' 2.5" female. Started at162, down to 143. I'd like to get down to 115-120lbs. 1 lb away from being down 20lbs!

I agree with you. I have to limit my alcohol to max. 2 drinks/week (better in just one night) or it becomes a free for all but I do better with a little bit of chocolate everyday vs. abstaining and then having the slippery slope of "I'll have one..." that leads to 2, 3, 10, haha! With CICO, I do think you can eat whatever…
