I am 5'2.5". I started losing at 164lbs and I was a 34 G. I am now down to 128lbs and a 32 GG. I am currently waiting for a date for my reduction. I have almost constant neck, back and shoulder pain that haven't been alleviated with weight loss or strength training (I'm at the gym 6 days/week). I can't wait to be able to…

Preplan meals and snacks, shop for them and prepare as much as you can ahead of time (precut veggies, etc) once a week. This seems like it would be time consuming but it will save you so much time and have foods on hand that will help you meet your goals!
-
YES!! I do the same because I'd rather eat some of my favourite foods by fitting them into my goals over not having the room to eat them because I ate beforehand.
-
I have done something similar. I adopted the One Bite rule (coined by Melissa Hartwig from the Whole30). I allow myself any foods but it has to taste amazing in that first bite or it's not worth it. I have learned a lot about the foods I actually like/don't like by slowing down and actually tasting them. With alcohol, I…

Try focussing on adding healthy foods to your day, instead of taking away unhealthy foods. Make a deal with yourself that you will eat some veggies first, then a small serving of chips, chocolate or whatever is your favourite food. I am a chocoholic and eat some chocolate every day. If I don't allow myself foods that I…

I keep a protein bar in my bag for just in case I'm out longer than expected.
-
I committed to logging every bite that crosses my lips, the "good", the "bad" and the ugly. I have a 106 day streak of doing that.
-
Lower for me, too. After having 4 babies, I don't think it will ever be the same.

I was amazed at how inaccurate my measuring cups were when I made the move over to a digital scale. I would put my half cup of rice in to the measuring cup then weigh it to see the difference. Sometimes, it was almost 3/4 cup in weight!

Pumpkin seeds are reasonably priced at Costco, too.

My appetite is still huge and I thrive on high volume BUT if I eat a lot of crap in one sitting, I feel terrible! The amount of food doesn't affect me so much but, damn, the type of food now does!

I love hiking and biking. Every day, I go to the gym early so it's done before my hectic day begins. I love using the elliptical and alternating speed and intensity level. I find 2 mins. Intervals mix things up and keep me from getting bored.

I evaluate every bite of whatever treat I am having. I ask myself as I chew that first bite "Is this worth it?" There are times where it absolutely is but there are also a lot of times when it's not. The anticipation made it seem better than reality. In those times, I stop eating it. If I'm going to indulge with my…

Your trainer sounds like an *kitten*. Bye Felicia! (Keep doing your work outs because they are part of maintaining good health, regardless of a slip up!)

I think it's great that you were able to get pregnant when you thought it was going to require medical assistance. However, I would caution you that suggesting that making a diet change is the "magic fix" for fertility. Infertility is a heartbreaking situation for many women and isn't necessarily easily addressed through…

Way to go!

I had the same issue. That *kitten* made me feel ravenous all.the.time. Glad you found a better fit!

I have PCOS and have lost 20 lbs since starting to log every bite and drink that I take.(5'2.5", SW-161). I started at the beginning of July. I don't do low carb but do shoot for a daily protein goal only because I find a certain amount of protein keeps me feeling full. I also have some type of treat almost daily, eg.…

I kept up with my kids while hiking, biking and kayaking on vacation.

Awesome!!

Thank you so, so much for all of the input! So many great points made and I've got some great ideas to ponder and implement.
-
I love this idea, thanks!

I was actually worried when I started because I don't want to give her, or my other two children, a skewed view of food and exercise. I have tried to put the focus on me getting healthier and how much better I feel, sleep, activity levels. I still get treats in, almost daily, and they see me making those choices, too. I'm…

Thanks everyone! I will keep my mouth shut.

Soda water with lime- looks fancy in a glass and tastes good with no calories!

Yeah...that was my downfall. Wine lead to munchies, then more munchies, then more munchies... ;) I do still allow all of my favourite foods but not in the amounts of the other night. I won't do that again. Not worth it!

I have a picture of myself from when I felt so good about how I could fit in clothes. That number is my goal range. I didn't get there in a healthy way, though, so I have no idea how I will look as I now workout and I'm not sacrificing health for a number on the scale. I'm willing to stop higher if I feel and look good.

Thank you!

@snickerscharlie I found the PC popcorn and got some for camping. I was drooling putting the bag in the cart...
