I bank some calories during the week and try to do something super active on the weekends! My husband and I are training for a half marathon, so we usually do a 9 mile walk/run on Sundays...so that gives me plenty of calories to play with! Try hiking, or biking! Those have always been my favorite!

I would love more friends! I am looking for friends who are active and have open diaries!

Started at 222 lbs at 5'2" currently down to 215 and hoping the scale keeps dropping!

When I go out to eat I don't usually choose a full meal from the menu. I always get a big glass of water, order a grilled meat option (chicken breast or shrimp usually), and veggie option...so a salad with dressing on the side or whatever veggies they have. I find it is the safest route for me to take, and most everywhere…

It's the same concept as 5 lbs of feathers vs 5 lbs of rocks...they are the same weight, but one will fill more space than the other. Same with calories...100 calories of carrots vs 100 calories of peanut butter. You will have more of one than the other as far as volume goes, but they are the same in terms of calories. A…

My favorite breakfast is one egg with extra egg whites added, turkey kielbasa (Hillshire Farms), and a small banana sliced! It's a little high in sodium, but I do not eat a lot of sodium during the rest of the day so I am usually still under for that. But it's perfect bc I can make the kielbasa and eggs the night before…

Feel free to add me!

Honestly I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on workout clothing...or any clothing honestly. But then again I am about as big of a bargain shopper as there is. I find/have found brand name, quality gear at TJ Maxx and Ross that have held up for years!

This is the kind of post/attitude that had me scared to step foot in the gym for a long time... Being overweight and taking those first steps to work out is hard enough...then add worrying about those avid gym-goers making fun of you as you take your first timid steps into the gym. I was an athlete growing up, continuing…

It all depends on what works into your calories, and if you enjoy them. I personally drink 2 protein shakes a day...almond milk and a low sugar/carb powder from Optimum Nutrition. This works best for me as I am on the go a lot and most of what I bring with me is fruits and vegetables to snack on. I also do lower carb, so…

I 100% don't mean this in a hateful way, but it says something that you feel more comfortable talking about this with strangers on the internet than with your partner. Maybe talking to him about working with a counselor together would do both of you some good. I know in a marriage it is not always easy to say exactly what…

I used to get snacky at night...and my routine didn't help. I am so busy at work that when I got home I would sit a lot and do nothing...which of course brought on the "I'm bored...what's in the fridge/pantry"...and there is always something worth snacking on. I found that making more room for calories at dinner and…

I will tell you from experience...low carb is not necessary for weight loss and it is definitely not for everyone. I did very low carb for a while (about 6 months)...and I HATED it. I lost weight steadily, but I just didn't feel my best, and I felt really deprived...which meant when I fell off that wagon I fell into a 2…

I have something similar...they are elliptical pedals that can go under a desk, table, or just in front of a chair in the living room. I love mine. I use them a lot when I have to be sitting for long period of time...I can change the resistance and use them to challenge myself or I can just leave it light and use them to…

I am not logging my food, but I am going to be conscious of what I eat. I am bringing the mashed potatoes (which are my favorite), but instead of having them myself I am bringing a smaller thing of mashed cauliflower (cringe). I am also working out that morning.

I am getting back to being more active on this app and dedicated to my health/fitness...I would love more friends who are active!

Mine is at least respectful enough to wear pasties or boobie tassels...but the ugly kind that I bought him

This just screams gross. Let me guess...you've "innocently" messaged women on here to tell them how beautiful they are and only friend request females...bc nothing says "devoted husband" like a shirtless pic and a post checking to see who else wants to be emotionally unfaithful to their spouse.

Honestly, it's not like we wear makeup for guys anyway...you think I own 20+ lipsticks for my husband...hell no! He thinks they are basically all the same color and that I'm sexy with or without makeup (which I am *hairflip*). I LOVE my lipstick and I do my makeup for me, to do something special for myself...something I…

During my last visit to my doctor she mentioned my weight and that it is something I need to work on. This is something I was already aware of, and something I wanted to work on...hearing it from a medical professional only solidified that in me. Hopefully when I see her in a few months she will be happy with my progress.…

My clothes at work are usually basic/classic stuff...then outside of work it's mainly boho with a gothic edge....my husband likes to say it's like if a hippie became a witch/vampire lol

I used to use sugar and cream in my coffee, and it is startling to see how many calories there are. I just started using less and less...I would get the pre-measured cups (like what they have at restaurants and gas station coffee bars) and that was all the creamer I could have...now I drink it black with only 1 packet of…

I do a couple 1 pan bakes at the beginning of the week for me and my hubby's lunch: * Turkey Sausage, sweet potatoes, peppers, broccoli, and onions - cut into similar sizes and bake it on a cookie sheet * Chicken, zucchini, green beans, and cherry tomatoes - I usually ad a little pesto for flavor, so delicious! * Chicken,…

I think that when you love someone, part of that love is pushing each other to be the best versions of yourself. My husband and I have been together at just about every range of weight. We have been in great shape together, average, and now we are at our highest weights. When we discuss losing weight and getting healthy it…
