I make almost everything in the microwave baked potato (cook 8 minutes, poked with holes), topped with spinach, chopped tomato and cottage cheese instant rice (cook per the box), mixed with coleslaw blend veggies, deli roast beef, salsa and cheese 3 eggs (microwave for 4 minutes), mixed with red pepper, onion and spinach,…

I've been through re-feeding. I'm not a doctor and this is only from my own experience. My BMI was 13. I also wasn't allowed to start running until my BMI was over 16. You should still see a doctor asap though. 1. immediate rest. stop all exercise and do as little activity as possible to conserve calories 2. increase…

Don't chug it. That would make anyone's stomach feel uneasy. Either drink it on your drive home or as soon as you get back from your bike but before you shower and get ready for bed. Or, find something to replace the shake. Maybe you're cramping up because of the shake itself.

I agree that a home gym sounds like a good option for you. That's basically what you had before. Start looking on CraigsList and Ebay for equipment. A lot of people purchase fitness equipment and then rarely use it, only to sell it online to get it out of the house. If you have the space, go for it. Start with a couple big…

I run in Nike Frees. I lift in Vans, Converse, Adidas.

My boyfriend was making spaghetti and then realized we had no vodka sauce. He heated up a can of broccoli cheddar soup and used that instead. It even went well with the meatballs. I was making stir fry shrimp and we didn't have any teriyaki or ginger. I cooked the shrimp in paprika, Sriracha and mustard and made a spicy…

I work out at a club. No way I'd have enough room for everything I use in my apartment. I'm currently 5 foot 9 and 128lbs. deadlift- 285 squat- 205 chest- 135 My working weight for kettlebells is a 20kg or a 24kg. I don't really use dumbbells often.

I eat at least 3 a day. I eat a Lenny and Larry protein cookie as part of breakfast for the extra calories. Then I have a Quest bar after my morning workout. I'll have another Quest or OhYeah or Clif Builder Bar at lunch or afternoon snack too. I don't like to cook. And, I don't like bulky meals. For me, protein bars are…

I had to gain quite a bit (coming out of treatment for anorexia) and I stuck to really simple meals because I'm a terrible cook and I didn't want to be bothered. In the right portions, my meals were about 800 cals. Some things I usually ate - Breakfast cottage cheese, granola, peanut butter, fruit with 2 eggs toast with…

If you just stopped getting it, you might want to go and get your hormones checked, just to be safe. In the meantime, eat more and make sure you are eating adequate fats. It should come back easily if this is recent. Mine has been gone for 8 years and it'll cause health problems that are best to be avoided if possible.

I've stopped stressing about eating out. I can always find something to eat, even if it means only eating a small part of a large entree, or combing two side dishes to make a meal. I used to get worried about the amount of oil and butter a restaurant adds. But then I realized, a restaurant wants their food to taste good,…

Sometimes I just make a really thick protein shake and then stir in some mix-ins and eat with a spoon. For your base- 220 calories 4oz almond milk (20 cals) 1/2c cottage cheese (80cals) 1 scoop flavored protein powder (120 cals) You can buy sample packs for protein powder so you don't have to buy a bunch of tubs and you…

I've been working out everyday for years. It's part of my schedule and my habits. If something throws off my workout, I am not a happy camper the rest of the day.

I can make a really easy "quiche," that my boyfriend likes. I eat it without the "crust" preheat the oven and bake some Pillsbury crescent roll dough. Don't roll up the dough into the knots though. Just lay the triangles out. Bake it a couple minutes short so that the dough is still pliable, not raw, but pliable. Mix 3…

Definitely beer. I can stop at 1 or 2, not a problem. But I usually have a hankering for a bit more than that.

Pilates apparatus training. Even working on the mat can be a killer ab workout. I thought it was wimpy until I tried it myself. It will help with your back pain too.
-
I embrace the callouses. I used to rip frequently, but my hands have gotten stronger. I also chalk up before lifting.
-
Have you tried Pilates apparatus training? Pilates is great for posture and engaging the entire core. You really learn how to zip up and hold your abs in which might help with the pouch. See if you have a studio near by or if your local health club offers one-on-one training.

I tried the Rocky Road Trip Oreos. They are okay, but not something I'd buy again. I like vanilla things more than chocolate though, so that's the main reason. The crunchy bits are fun for texture. The creme has a slight marshmallow taste to it, which sets it apart from regular chocolate Oreos. These would be really good…

You're not saving much by omitting the whipped cream. I think the whip is like 60 calories? You could swap the 2% for almond milk which would save more. The difference between 2% and whole milk isn't very much either. But the difference between almond and whole milk is quite a bit. Unless you like the 2% and in that case,…

Build outfits around basics with accessories to keep it interesting. You can have a wide variety of outfits/styles with a few core pieces and then a ton of add-ons. The best part about accessories? You don't shrink out of them! I think you should always have - 3 pairs of neutral work pants (black, grey, blue) 7 v neck t…

Cook your veggies in oil - problem solved. Or top them hummus or guacamole.

Not very often. They don't pair well with the majority of other things I eat.

I love Quest Bars. I find them comparable to the OhYeah One bars. My flavor ranking for the flavors currently available, starting with best to worst Cookies and Cream Peanut Butter Supreme Blueberry Muffin Mocha Chip Smores Peanut butter smash Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Birthday cake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Apple Pie Maple…

Instead of pasta, offer a quinoa salad and a bean salad. You can mix black beans, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, taco mix, avocado, mango and peanut oil. The beans would be a nice alternative to baked beans, which usually contain pork. Vegan is no animal products - no dairy, no eggs, no meat, no seafood. Some vegans…

1. gym membership and personal trainer 2. good running shoes - thanks Nike FlyKnit! 3. wireless headphones 4. protein bars, frozen precooked chicken strips 5. sugar free energy drinks

I like the non-dairy Isopure. They have a low-carb variety. I believe its 160 cals with 20g of protein.

What nutrients/macros are you low on? I started taking a greens supplement because I don't eat much fruit or veggies right now. What does your typical intake look like? We might be able to provide some easy changes or substitutions if we know what you're already taking in and what you think you need more of?
