No, i get it. Working so hard and yet the scale goes up. But I do also have to agree with all the comments here about the fluctuation in water weight. With a hard workout or sore muscle I know not to weight myself because i know i went up a few pounds.. so i tend to rely on waist measurement and picture by picture views of…

I totally agree. Different people like different appearance. I always take a second look when he is lean a just a bit of muscle while another friend likes men with muscle on muscle. However, sometimes you never know when you already gotten that second look.. I don't make it obvious when i am checking a guy out or i will…

Oh man how i agree with you. I actually lost 55lbs and maintained it for 2 years. I've gained 25 lbs back due when i got in a relationship. I just don't feel i have the confidence i did back then. I felt beautiful, strong, and healthy. I want heads to turn when I strut my stuff. hahah or at least a glance.

I am glad your posting to keep you accountable. I am really motivated by reading your post.

I am in. I have a total of 40lbs to lose.

This year alone i gained back 25 pounds in about 5 months.. I want to try losing that plus some. Its hard not feeling bad when nothing is fitting anymore and its hard getting back on the wagon. But I just started again this Sunday and I 've been doing good this week..

Just for today. go exercise 30 mins of any kind.

Lost 60 lbs but i've gained 25lbs. I want to lose those 25lbs plus another 15lbs which would have got me to my goal weight.

I don't want to get new clothes that are a size or 2 bigger.
-
Now that is some motivation!!! Keep at it! By the way try getting a piece of clothing that either fit tight or didn't fit. That will help you when there is a time you don't notice weight loss in pounds. There will be a point you will lose in inches.

For me the first few weeks were hard but because I didn't know how to start. But on myfitnesspal site it help me see what everyone did. I saw some do CICO, change eating habits, fasting, or more exercising. Really once you realize what is the best for you it will become easier. Plus the small changes you will see will keep…

Yes. same. but sometimes i use my rest days to have go swim (relaxing one). Or walk a mile or two. Since i am used to mostly running and on other days doing weights. So i do something but just not so intense as my regular days.

OMG.. with family and co-workers. Whenever I've said No thank you to a donut or some kind of dessert. I get back a comment "it won't be to bad if you indulge a bit you workout". UMMM.... "do you know how many calories are in that??". I see food with calories and how much i would have to cut on my actual food or workout to…

My mom weight herself in front of me and i noticed i was only about 4 pounds less then her. I didn't even have kids or was married to blame it else where. Freaked me out and started losing weight. I am now 45lbs less with 20 more to go until i hit my goal weight.

Wow. I just read your story and glad you were able to keep the weight off. I have been on maintenance for about a year but i always have to check myself closely since i gain easily. Did you weight your self often or just base on how the clothes felt?
-
You can do it.!!! I am in the same boat. So i am starting to log everything thing now.

My Japan trip in April. I want to walk longer periods of time since I know i will be doing a lot of sightseeing. Major one is going to mt Fuji. Getting in shape for that.

To not eat soda, candy, or ice cream for next 7 days. Not really to lose weight, but because i have gotten out of hand on portion control which has cause me to not stick to my calorie count the past 3 weeks. I ate a Costco container of chocolate covered almonds in 4 days. yikes!! I usually do this as a mental control on my…

It is hard. I still have the 10 lbs to lose as of now. Plus 5 more i regain 2018. I tried to keep at a maintenance in 2018 since i lost about 40 pounds in 2017. I feel like it doesn't matter to me how long it takes as long as it comes off. I am fine losing 1-2 pounds a month. I'll eventually go down. This has been a life…

i think i know why this person mention crows. I had one try to attack me every time i leave the house for about three days. when i turn around to lock my door it would fly behind me and close enough to attack my neck. It freaked me out. The first time the crow did that i was weird out and thought it was my imagination.…

About 6 pounds. Mostly during TOM since i tend to have more salty foods.

I've just read this whole thread. I totally agree with you. You were just stating something that happen to you and what you did. I know there had been a time i burned out too. I wanted to work out like my usual and eat well within my calories set but my body was telling me something else. So I listen to it that one day. I…

I am in. I have been maintaining my 40 lb lost since Jan 2018. Been wanting to lose the last 20. CW 145.4 GW 125

I just got grief on how my diet needs to be more restrictive in not eating any sugar, soda, chocolates, bread, pizza. I've lost close to 50lbs and ive been in maintenance since Dec 17. I have done the CICO and works. So i can have anything as long as i have enough calories for it. However, i mention that I am going back to…

Sometimes it just takes longer... i had to lose over 30lbs when it was a little bit noticeable. Took about 3 months.. Then all of sudden i lose another 7 lbs and everybody noticed a big difference?? Like what the heck.. the 30 weren't noticeable but the 7 were? It just takes patience and to continue to do this for your…
