I have to agree with apullum, people assume i don't eat various things too. I remember planning to go out with family and friends when one of them told me " you don't eat burgers right? so is it OK if we go here?" , ummm heck ya i eat burgers!! YUP!! I had a pair of pants, dresses, shirts that I kept because they didn't fit but I love!! Every time i was getting depress because the scale wasn't moving I try those on and see how they fit. They were fitting better and better so it meant i was losing inches and kept me going. Had a pair of pants that didn't go past…

YUP! Because I know its a lot less soda i savor it for my whole meal. Later i eventually was able to even leave some soda from the mini cans.

You know its sad but true. People treat you differently... in the good way. I know i lost weight for health reason but losing weight does give you a confidence boost, energy, and better health.

Totally agree. I had to eliminate soda when i first started changing my eating habits because of how much of an influence it had on me. Only when i could control my eating and drinking habits did i let myself indulge a soda here and there. All other junk food didn't influence me as much as soda did so i didn't restrict…

I agree that it can be water retention. I live in Texas where its constantly hot so when I've done long runs over 5 miles or I drink lots of water. But I seem to retain it too. But that's me.

I was thinking the same. I also noticed so much more acne on my face when changing my eating habits but later thought I should also keep washing my face the same way i do at night and morning after a workout and it seem like that work. However, if the OP doesn't workout often then it might be the diary after all.

Every month is a hit or missed. Some months its hard to control my appetite other months I am on point and even lose. The only thing that stays the same is my workouts. Pizza or Soda. These are my addiction and things i can't just have a bit of. I had to eliminated them complete at the beginning of my lifestyle change. I can now have pizza in moderation but soda on the other hand til this day becomes a addiction so I avoid it completely.

I think its not possible to lose 30lbs in a healthy way. A healthier weight loss would be about 0.5-2lbs a week as mention before. The only time I will notice you is if you were on the stair master long... "dang it, got to wait" but I would then go and find something else. Usually I would get distracted with some other machine and forget entirely.

I usually keep dark chocolate or strawberry on hand for those intense sugar cravings. Different fruits work as well.
