My calorie goal is at 1400 and i am steadily losing. It was at 1200 for one month but i just found it to hard to maintain that amount. Even now i eat 4 days at 1400 and 3 days at about 1600.

I would love to lose 12kg by the end of the year. I need to start going on daily walks. I really hate exercise. This i attempt every week and tend to fail so i need to stick to it. Fairly simple goals but im going for achievable at this stage of my journey.

I am quite similar so i do tend to eat these sorts of carbs one meal per day only. (bread, rice, pasta, potatoes)

I have never heard or seen this string cheese you all talk of. Must be an American thing? I love my crackers and cheese, apples or my latest favourite is an orange cut up and i add it to my yogurt.

I tend to stick to meat & salad or meat & vegies. Then ill have eggs too and i vary the way they are cooked.

This happens to me often also. I will always weigh myself when i first wake. From that first time im up and have gone to the bathroom any time i weigh myself between then and night time my weight is up down and all over the show.

Yes i do still have a fair bit in the house because i have kids and a partner that will eat them so its 100% on me to keep myself focused. Hi all, It sounds like we have a very similar frame of mind in regards to weight loss. SW - 233 CW - 223.9 GW - 175 to start with would be amazing! Im on 1200 and im coming up 4 weeks. I generally find it fine. The first 7-10 days was the hardest. I had headaches and felt slightly light headed on occasion because i was cutting out sugar and carbs. I find its all about playing around with food to find what works for you. I have been yes. Im at 1200cal and my exercise calories are just from walking so not much but i generally eat 60-70% of them back. Im in my first month though so kind of judging what is working and isnt working for me to lose weight
