Right on! I've been doing keto just shy of 3 months, and LOVE it! I'd welcome more keto friends.

I'll grab the chicken if I see it, too. Have you tried it? So far I've got nuts, tuna and chicken. Not so sure about cheese keeping ... anyone know about that? Anything else? Particularly, easy to nosh while walking. Was thinking low-carb tortilla with almond butter.

Sent a request @xshandyx I'd love more keto friends too, so anyone else please feel free to add me. I'm doing this quietly and alone in real life, and find the mutual support and sharing on MFP super helpful.

I sympathize. I've been having a similar issue (averaging 800 kcals/daily for a month.) At first, I thought it was fine temporarily but got concerned as the weeks passed. I'm doing a bit better, but have found I can only hit protein and cals above 1000 if I skip all veggies. If I have the fiber-filling veggies, I'm short…

Ooof, my goal has been 7,500 5 days/wk. 8k every day will be a real challenge for me.

Tuna pouches are a great idea! I feel silly for not having thought of that.

Been keto for 2.5 months and couldn't be happier! Love the mutual support aspect of MFP - anyone doing low carb, feel free to add me!

Lily's dark chocolate. It's delicious (coconut is my fave) and has no glycemic index sweeteners - at least the bars I've looked at do

I've got a teenage boy and a father with Parkinson's in the house. Dad's not changing at this point, and I see no need to not provide my son with whole grains he likes. So, no, the only change in our groceries has been more greens, and higher quality meats and cheeses for me. BUT ... Except for the first couple of weeks it…

Loving keto, and IF most days. Sending a request. Anyone else into this way of eating can feel free to add me as well!

I don't think anyone but you and your doctor can say if surgery is the best option you have. Have you tried a calorie deficit with or without other ways of eating (keto, OMAD, etc.) For at least several months? For one, youd have to do a strict pre-surgical diet anyway. For two, wouldn't it be good to see how you could do…

Love hearing another doctor has caught on! I'm about 2.5 months into keto, and loving it! Feel free to add me (any fellow ketoers) - I'm doing this quietly and alone in real life, and find the mutual community support on MFP super helpful.

Second the ice over heat and a TENS unit. For me, it was time as your doctor said - and I did see pt, chiropractor, pain management. Pushing through pain to be active, aggrevated the herniated discs more and spread nerve pain beyond just sciatic. Massages at the chiropractor helped. So for me me it was: Time TENS Ice…

Feel free to add me. I'm no keto-guru, but I'm into my third month and loving it! More keto friends are all welcome - it helps so much.

Yass girl! Way to go getting back in determined. Sent a request. Would love more keto friends in my feed - any fellow keto'ers shoot me a request too. We can do it alone, but it's easier together.

Keto mentors still have room? I'm 39, started keto at 228/5'4" and at 45 days I'm at 208.4. In this for the long haul and some suggestions/corrections, accountability and comeraderie would sure be welcome. P.S. I do have MFP premium if that matters.

I know it doesn't seem enough, but truly a heartfelt note is super appreciated. If you want to give something more tangible, "real food" is usually welcome. A deli platter, pickles/olives/cheese platter, fruits and veggies - stuff hungry people can really eat on a quick break when they're hungry. If you want to go all-out,…
