I actually haven’t thought of it that way because I try to eat 3 meals and have a pre workout and post workout. But I never eat back my burnt calories not even half so you’re right I’m not fuelling body for these workouts. Wow, thank you for your tips!

Hi all, thank you so much for your tips. The HIIT workout I’m doing is the Chloe Ting workouts so far on YouTube it ranges from full body workouts I usually do 2- 3 workouts back to back to make it 30-45 minutes long. So it’s like a fast paced circuit training. A usual workout video would be like 8-10 exercises - 3 sets -…

So if MyFitnessPal sets me at 1200 calories and I burn around 600 calories (realistically with HIIT workout 5 days a week I’m burning approx 300 calories a day) then my overall intake should be 1500 calories? Would this be considered a calorie deficit? My knees are getting there I can’t lean on them yet but physio and…

Oh that is awful I didnt even know there was such thing as pro ana board! I can't understand how someone would be functional eating so low, surely that can be good for your health.
-
Guys, it was pretty amazing! I contacted the gym and magically this trainer kept calling to apologise profusely and instantly refunded me. When the whole time she kept saying the gym won't do anything , well, they did! You guys have been great, thank you!

100% I lift heavy weights. I love feeling strong. I'm doing a body recomposition and a cut I need carbs.
-
Absolutely, which is why I got rid of her.
-
I paid the trainer directly and not the organisation. I raised a complaint against the trainer, she became verbally abusive with me saying I lack discipline. I dropped my weight from 220lbs to 175 through hardworking and discipline.
-
Thank you I will do.
-
I know, and the very same trainer has become aggressive and still doesnt understand what went wrong. I want to become healthy and stronger in the right way given my issues. Only downside is I can't get a refund.
-
I see! I have an appointment to see a dietician so hopefully can get more information.
-
Thank you
-
I have gotten rid of the personal trainer, my own doctor advised low carb diet isn't good and to look into a balanced diet.
-
Thank you!
-
😂 my trainer is broken. What is the difference between nutritionist and dietitian?
-
She isn't a nutritionist no, thank you I will try those carbs.
-
Yes I eat 1400 calories a day. A bit low but it makes sure I'm in a deficit.
-
Wow, thank you so much!
-
I will try that thanks! Just managed to get onto my goals on MFP. Changed to 0.5kg to lose per week and lightly active and as my goal is to get to 130lbs eventually MFP calculated my calories to 1560 for my height. Will also try the link given, thank you!
-
No on MFP i put 0.5 and lightly active and it came up with 1200 cals but I'm unable to access that it just says unavailable. When I access that I will try again to see what my calories should be. In terms of my exercise calories, I simply focus on my net calories. So hitting 1500 cals solely from food.
-
I know 1500 cals is ok when I'm not training but days when I train I'm so hungry. Will keep playing with my numbers.
-
Thank you! I think there is a glitch I can't access that part right now. So I will try again setting it to 0.5 and activity level to lightly active and see how much that calculates too.
-
I put 0.5 for weightloss and activity is lightly active. I have an office job but activity wise I'm moderately active. Also I don't eat back exercise calories just to keep myself in a deficit. Maybe it's my version of the app showing the lower figures?
-
MFP tells me to eat 1200 cals when I set my info up and i was really hungry eating that amount. Especially lifting weights eating 1200 cals is way too low for me.
-
Thank you so much for these tips! Never realised I was hungry all this time and it's because I'm not fuelling my body properly.
-
You guys have been great with all your tips!!! Thank you so much!!
-
Great thank you so much! Yes I'm currently lifting heavy weights with cardio sessions. 1824 calorie sounds great I can actually eat more filling food. I am looking to lose weight in a sustainable way so even if its 1lb a week that's progress. I will try upping my calories thank you!

I screened positive for ED but don’t have one per se, according to my psychologist. It doesn’t make sense I have binge eating episodes screened positive but they say I don’t have an ED. So how does one ease up on diet and produce results?
-
Agreed, I’m concerned if I try flexible dieting I may not reach my goal.

Hi all so my stats are below. I was 215lbs I am now 180. Lost the through low carb diet for two years I was eating around 1,500 calories and only 50g carbs. I’m now stuck on 180lbs.
