Yes psychology and dietitian both have said I need to ease up on diet and fitness. I’m 45lbs away from my goal weight if I ease up on training days wouldn’t I slow my progress down? I’m currently going 4x a week.

My binge episodes were around 500 calories back when I was eating 1,200 calories so since I’ve stopped cutting food groups binge eating has stopped and I’m staying below 1,400 calories. According to iifym my TDEE is 2,000 at the moment so deducting the 500 calorie deficit I should be eating 1,500 calories but I’m…

Doctors have done all tests so I don’t have any medical reasons why I’m not losing weight. So I will look at my login more closely and see if that changes things.

So me eating 1,300 calories I can currently fit things like a bagel for breakfast or some starchy refined carbs. I’m struggling with eating good carbs for breakfast lunch and dinner. Lunch is always protein and veg so I pick at my food quite a bit which leads to my binge eating episodes. My binge eating is mostly carbs…

I struggle with carbs because I can’t cut back on it. I eat quite a bit of fruit around 2-3 pieces a day, I use a salter food scale for my solid foods.

My dietitian is working on a calorie goal for me but has asked me to relax and ease off controlling my diet and exercise so much. I stick to 1,300-1,350 per day I don’t eat more than that. My binge eating episodes have decreased since I’ve stopped cutting out food groups i log food through MyFitnessPal and show me how you…

I did open my diary on a previous post and some of the feedback I received was to watch the carb and fruit intake closer. I could be miscalculating my calories. However my dietitian is trying to encourage intuitive eating which I’m finding hard.

Yes I log I eat approx 1,300 -1,400 calories a day and my TDEE is around 2,000. I'm rounding up I can't remember my exact macros from iifym. I'm watching my macros closely and I've noticed 50% of what I eat daily is mostly carbs which I want to work on. I want to reduce that and up my fats and protein.

My dietitian said I eat healthy and I should take t easy but I can't see any non scale victories nor on the scale so I thought look at my nutrition again. I'll try low carb high fat moderate protein and see if that helps. :)
-
I've done low carb the wrong way before I was always starving. I love carbs I could eat carbs all day long. But I also struggle with it. I don't understand how to eat healthy and lose weight consistently.
-
That makes sense. So what is the correct way of doing doing low carb high fat and moderate protein diet? What kind of foods would you eat to ensure you're not starving all the time?
-
Isn't high fat increasing the risk of cholesterol?
-
Yes I do strength training twice a week and cardio twice a week
-
I've been recommended to do high protein moderate fats and low carbs. I'm losing weight from arms and legs but my belly fat isn't going at all. So I thought if I lower my carbs moderate fats and high protein that may help but I don't know how to.

I've tried the gluten free bread genius bread I seem to be fine with it. No bloating so far. Not tried the gluten free pasta yet.
-
Guys after being gluten free for three days I ate out today and had a cookie. And my stomach hurts I'm bloated I have cramps around the side of my stomachs and the nausea is killing me. I was fine the last three days being gluten free so something isn't right.
-
Baked potatoes are too heavy for my stomach and cause bloating. And bread causes gas and cramps. Dr thought it was wheat not solely for the potato wedges but from my symptoms and asked completely avoid the listed products and dietitian wants to rule out gluten sensitivity so has asked me to go full gluten free for two…
-
I will do I have to do this for two weeks so I'll know more about this. If it isn't gluten what could it be? My Dr thinks it's wheat, dietitian thinks something very similar.
-
Hmm my dietitian has advised to go completely gluten free to see how I react . Thank you all !

I can tolerate rice just the below causes me issues. I eat the below in moderation but it causes bloating, cramping and gas. My stomach feels heavy and then swells up. Pasta Pizza Wheat tortilla Potato wedges Crisps
-
Yes I can eat a small quantity of rice.

Thank you all for your feedback I did speak to my dr about this and he said I'm not showing much symptoms to be tested for celiac as it is just digestive issues. I'm only having digestive issues when I eat carbs. Pasta is an absolute no no the bloating and swelling of my stomach is horrendous. Dr suggested as I'm working…
-
That's what she said. She said to relax and enjoy eating
-
Thank you all for your input on this. It's just so hard!
-
I hope so it's a waiting game at the moment to see what they decide. In the mean time I've been advised to practice mindful eating and portion control. It's harder than I thought.

My scale is so weird tbh. My doctors scale showed me 80kg first thing in the morning that was a few weeks ago. My scale consistently showed me 82kg+ and then dietitian showed me I'm 80.08kg in the evening after a full day of eating. So it's really weird.
-
Freaking out because I feel like they're making me out to be someone with an eating disorder. I don't have one. I'm just super disciplined maybe a little too much if I have binge episodes.
-
Oh wow! Thank you all for your help
-
I did try digestive enzymes actually and it gave me the runs ( tmi I know sorry!) I've tried cutting out wheat for a month in the past and bloating was reduced I mentioned to my doctor still didn't send me for further testing
-
I've gone to two different doctors and both saying the same thing .
