Hey there, I’m uk based, in Leeds, I’ll send you a friend request. Keep at your game plan once it’s all fully set. Just remember that sometimes it’s going to be so hard you’re going to want to quit but just keep going even if it has to be at a crawl instead of a run some days.

I’ve never paid for mfp, I’ve never opted for premium. You can access forums, make food diary entries, add friends, create recipes all under the free version. There’s no obligation to sign up

Welcome, I’ll send you a friend request. Stay at your calorie goal and no matter how much you feel like a day is really hard just don’t stop moving because other days will be easier
-
Welcome, I’ve sent you a friend request however mfp seems to be having a bad day today and wouldn’t allow me to accept new friends earlier.

Cutting food groups isn’t the solution, reducing your overall calories in is. Do you use a food scale and weigh each of your foods? Do you count the cals in drinks you have? Are you over estimating how many calories you’ve gained back from exercising? While on here I’d let mfp set your stats based on your personal goals.…

You both sent me friend requests but I think mfp is having a bad day. When I tried to accept the request it just failed instead 😔 I’ll try to send you both a new friend request but if it doesn’t work I’ll try again in a few days when hopefully mfp is working properly again

Just to clarify I’ve said I exercise to eat more cals I’m actually a pretty much sedentary female, I have an autoimmune disease that can leave me bed/sofa bound for large amounts of time, I also have exercise induced anaphylaxis (true story) so moderate/intense exercise isn’t an option. So I work my 1200cals based on the…

I’m normally around 1200 a day but I exercise in order to earn more cals. I tend to stick to eating back half of my burnt cals

I’m in Leeds. I’ve spent most of the year shielding so tiers don’t even matter to me anymore

Are you using the app? If so press the person’s name, once it loads press their name again. To the right hand side of the screen you’ll see a little person and a plus sign, press that. I only ever send my first name and ask if they want to be friends. Then press the tick in the top corner to send your request.

I’m nearly 34, also in Leeds, I have a teenage girl and a couple of younger kids. Married for the past decade. Planning ahead is always a good step even if it’s to say I know I won’t/can’t make any changes til then. I’ll send you a friend request

If you’re using the app, click the persons name, once it loads click their name again, to the right hand side of the screen you’ll see a little person and a plus sign click that and then it’ll load a screen I only ever give my first name and ask if they want to be friends. Then send it through.

The face of fed up. I’m on sofa rest while my heart decides to start beating again properly. Why do autoimmune problems flare when I’m busy 😩

I’ve sent you a friend request to help cheer you along on your journey. Some days are going to be really hard and you’ll want to quit but every pound you lose is a pound closer to your target

We’ve literally just bought a motorised Reebok one, we’re uk based and it cost £500. The objective is mainly for me to get to use it as I have a condition called exercise induced anaphylaxis and find it easier to jog/run indoors, but my husband is due knee surgery soon and will use it as part of his rehab too.
