I’ve considered making soap as I make laundry soap. It’s just such a pain finding lye. And I’m not much for ordering stuff over the web. The less info out there the better, sez I.

I do believe the rule of thumb is to eat back half and watch progress. If you’re still losing at the correct rate, than add back a bit more. Some eat all and have no problems, it’s a bit of an experiment. :)

I completely agree with a slower rate of loss. It’s truly beneficial to not be overly restrictive! Also it really helps when the pieces fall into place and we realize that time will pass anyway, so what’s the hurry. Blessings to you!

I’ve noticed others doing that and thriving. There’s a group too, I believe. I myself am happier with two meals. :)

I’m going to go with, whatever you can stick to and make it feel easy and the pieces fall into place, increasing health and happiness, that’s what you should do. :) For ME that’s a slower rate of loss and counting calories.

I also agree. Taking some time at maintenance really helped me shift my disordered thinking. Also reading so much good advice given in these forums. I read daily the struggles (and go through many of the same) and reset my thinking every day. Blessings to you.

I agree with those that suggest using a food scale to weigh solids and cups to measure liquid. And also with the suggestion to drop your goal to .5 to 1 lb loss per week. It helps so much.
