Sesame oil (doesn’t take much), salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika. Curry for zucchini and asparagus. Sounds weird but a dash of nutmeg on yellow squash with all of the above seasoning is good.

I use Thayer’s. You can get it at Target.

I’ve struggled with acne my entire adult life. I’m 35 now and still break out. Not binging helps somewhat but I still break out even when eating more reasonably. I was also using Proactiv skincare products before; it didn’t really work for me. Earlier this year I started a new skin care routine and it’s really helped. I…

If your hips are shaped like that your pants are naturally going to settle in the middle of the dip though. My pants fit fine, right above the first flare of my hips, but the first time I bend over or crouch, my beltline falls into that dip. I can hike my pants up all day and they keep going back into the dip. Short of…

I was pretty bad about this until recently, to the point of getting headaches from dehydration. I got a bunch of crystal light packets and diet snapple packets to add to my water and I use a 20 oz bottle instead of the recommended 16 oz one. I’m drinking about three times as much water now. It hasn’t made any difference in…

For those of us that are uninformed... what are hips dips? Is that where your hips start to flare out and then dip back in and get narrower before flaring out again? Making it look like you have a belt wrapped too tight just beneath the first flare? Or like a double-lovehandle thing? (Because if so I have that and didn’t…

Thank you, I didn’t realize that was an option!

Thank you, this is very helpful!

I looked at at least 4 Franz original english muffin entries and none of them have grams. I didn’t check the other varieties though...

Yesterday I was sick and I was so nauseous in the morning that even the smell of my bf’s food was making me want to vomit. Later in the day I forced myself to eat. My tummy got really squirrelly for about 45 minutes and then after that I felt much better. I rarely get this sick. It’s been 2-3 years since the last time.…

Two pounds up the week before. I start getting irritable and really hungry, and my face breaks out. The day before I tend to get really bloated and might put on one more pound. Then the day I start I tend to have bad cramps and sometimes diarrhea. And a two-three pound loss by the second day.

Mine is open! Heads up that I’m pretty much on the “eat whatever I feel like, as long as there’s a 500 cal deficit” diet. It’s not as healthy as some other diaries I’ve read.

Hi ladies! I’d love some friends with similar goals! I’m 35 years old, around 5’4” and currently 129– started at 135 and my goal is below 120 (not sure yet where to set the goal and have it be realistic and healthy but I’ve been down to 112-118 a couple times and that was where I actually felt I looked lean). I may need to…

I went on Weight Watchers twice. The first time, in 2010, I was successful— within 4 months I had lost 21 pounds and was 3 pounds from my goal weight. It was great consistently seeing a loss every week and made the deprivation (no other word for it) worth it. Then they changed the program. I hung in there for two more…

I’m an impulsive person and I would totally go for it. It’s not going to hurt you to eat baby food, come on guys. It’s not like you’re asking about trying meth or something. I wouldn’t make your entire diet baby food but one or two is not going to hurt anything. There are way worse things you could be eating.

1. I like food. 2. I have problems with self-defeating behavior in general and love to start things but rarely finish them. This is as much a psychological thing as a laziness thing for me. 3. If losing weight is a problem I am constantly battling, then I don’t have to worry about the really hard problems like sorting…

I’m 35, trying to lose 10-20 pounds.

The boy and I got 6 miles in today. Hiking just isn’t as fun without him.

Do you have access to a pool? If so that would be a great way to get some exercise without hurting yourself. Water will take a lot of heat off your back, knees, and wherever else you may hurt. The deeper you submerge yourself the less weight on your joints; submerged to your chest you’ve taken 90% of the weight off. Start…
