Not a dumb idea at all. I have tried this, but the carb and sugar cravings usually win even if I ate a pound of salad.

Same one plus Depakote. I am fine at my maintenance dosage of 200mg nightly anything more and the cravings start.

If effects people differently. Forgetting to eat is one. Heart palpitations is another, my worse side was cotton mouth.

I would try to stay true too logging your foods here. If you're unable to do that maybe talking with someone could help. From the way your putting it I can see your point of view. Of course there will be soreness but too much at once will drive many people away from working out at all. A lot of folks jump in like Iron Man and the following day can barely walk.

I am five ten started at 350 about a year ago age is 41. Activity level is a lot more since the weight of 350 cardio three times a week. Strength training twice, and the best enjoying more time with the kids doing outdoor activities. 242 is high I want to be between 190 and 200.

I started with my legs only. Two parts thinking one, I would build endurance / stamina for hikes with the family and second they are one of the larger muscle groups and building them up would increase my BMR so I would be burning more calories a day. I checked my maintenance calories and it is between 2400 and 2430 on the two sites I checked so I suppose I am doing decent. I am sure the increase in the scale is water weight and the food type and it not really going through my system yet. Great advice, thank you

I was 310 on 6/22/2017 at the 200mg dose and am now in the upper 230's so yes a person can lose while taking it. At least I could at that dosage I will not paint others with a broad brush stroke.
