Previous Weight: 181.2 Current Weight: 180.6 Loss to Date: 53.4 lbs This past week has been a whirlwind, I think I was so busy I couldn't stress-eat as much as I normally would haha

@Emilienewme - All of your stepcounts have been added to the spreadsheet, I'll add your totals to the table for next week's results!

~ STEP CHALLENGE - SEPTEMBER ~ As a team, we walked over HALF A MILLION steps in September. I bet we can beat that for October (we're already to 340k by week two)! Thanks for participating in the steps challenge last month @marlalynns6304, @Emilienewme, @jennyell85, @ljdanny, and @BodyTalking !!!! I am sorry it took so…

@ljdanny - if your body isn't quite used to walking this much, you're definitely holding onto some extra water while your muscles adjust; it's a bittersweet side effect of increasing your movement, and one of the reasons people tend to get discouraged when they start to exercise more often.

Also! I recognize that we have not had any posts regarding the steps challenge in quite some time - Melanie has been unable to break free from her other responsibilities long enough to throw anything together, so I will be getting around to a results post in the next few days. Thank you for your patience with this, I…

Hi folks, I am still waiting on weigh-ins from: @EmmaGordon2401 @cedarfoxy @Neafus123 @Emilienewme Be sure to get these in before tomorrow morning for your updates to count towards our team totals! Remember that neglecting to weigh-in two weeks in a row, without requesting to be excused, results in being dropped from the…

@kakemery - A competition? Doing what??

Previous Weight: 181.7 lbs Current Weight: 181.2 lbs Was not expecting any loss at all, even a little one. I've been eating a bit all-over-the-place the past week, and while I HAVE been exercising frequently (kinda easy to hit my movement goals when I coach 8 fitness classes a week), I don't think it would be nearly enough…

@jennyell85 - Absolutely, I can take care of that in just a moment! Might as well give it a try. Seasonal depression is a killer, it's my least favorite thing about feeling that first chill in the air. What kinds of strategies do you use to keep pushing forward?

@jm216 - Hey! Welcome to the team! October week one for the step challenge runs from September 28th - October 4th. Do you want to log your steps for the end of September as well? ALSO! What is the significance of the 216? Do you happen to live in Cleveland?

Previous Weight: 181.2 lbs Current Weight: 181.7 lbs This is essentially a maintain, I'll take it. I haven't been paying too much attention to my calorie limits, so I'll consider this a success. The past couple weeks have been so ridiculously busy, I feel like September completely slipped away from me and I'm playing…

@kakemery - That's a great way to look at it! Keeping your goals as an active part of your routine and habits is the easiest way to make them stick. @vicky2767 - There is! If you click on the little ribbon icon at the top of the page next to the thread title (mine is blue because I have this chat bookmarked), it will be…
-
@kakemery - Absolutely, I can make that change for you. What's the other program you're doing? @CassieGetsFit2013 - Oh no, what's going on with your back and leg? I'm sure your body is holding onto water while they recover properly. Recurring pain is always an unfortunate source of water retention.
