I do the same thing. I buy my groceries and do all of my cooking on one of my days off. My co workers saved me all of their empty chinese food containers (The black ones with the snap on lids) and I use those to freeze the meals in. This way I can put the entire container in the microwave and it helps steam heat it. This…

When I started, I just brought a lot of snacks with me to work. Once my body had adjusted to eating at night and I was becoming hungry during my shift, that is when I starting packing a meal.

I normally wake up around 6pm(ish). I eat my heaviest meal of the day around 8pm because I know I won't be able to eat until around 1AM. I only pack one other meal, which I eat around 3am. I've read other threads on MFP and everyone seems to have different approaches. Some log midnight-midnight. Personally I log my meals for whatever day I wake up and am scheduled to work (i.e. I am working Tuesday Night, so all my meals get logged into Tuesday).

I used to have the same problem. It's called, "shift work sleep disorder" (seriously look it up :p) I work 11pm-7am 5 nights a week. What really helped me was Melatonin, others have used a magnesium suppliment. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. I take it right when I get home - and I always make myself…

It's up to you. I work overnights, so I log all my meals under the date I wake up and go to work - even though my lunch is normally eaten at around 3am the following day.
