I've experienced something similar, and with more and more weight loss it progressed into also going blind for a few minutes, and eventually fainting. It would happen especially when standing up (even slowly), exercising, taking warm (not even hot) or cold showers, and eventually just any random time. I would get dizzy and…

"General Practitioners", what all of you are talking about calling "doctors" don't even care about body fat percentage when you've had it done by a professional clinic using a submersion scale, which is the most accurate measure. I had that done as part of a study when I was 135 lbs and was measured at 14% body fat. I…

That I won't be able to reach my goals and be healthy. That all of this effort is like last time and will result in being in the worst health I've been in in my life and doctors will dismiss my concerns about fainting randomly. I've gone from 200 lbs to 130 lbs before. It's not the easiest thing, but it's not the hardest…

Does frame size really account for muscle mass though? I can't imagine my wrist getting larger just from gaining muscle mass which would be more likely to determine what weight I could realistically get down to. I seem to never really lose much muscle mass when dieting, on the contrary I tend to work out doing weight…

According to that calculator I have a medium frame, though I have no idea how that effects what weight I should aim for.

It's not super imperative I lose weight immediately however it is taking a toll on my self esteem because I know being over 200 pounds is not healthy for me and it makes me feel like a sausage roll. I've been working with a therapist for anxiety since 2nd senior year and I graduated in May I have been feeling a lot better…

I've tried many times over the last few years to limit soda intake, I've tried diluting it, and I've tried to drink water before drinking a glass of soda. I'm always too tempted to drink soda like water (in place of drinking water) I have lots of self control but apparently not for soda. I think the only way I'm going to…

I'm 24 I just finished getting my degree in Aerospace, I'm less stressed now than I was my junior and double senior years haha, that one professor would only pass half the class and I could never get a break. For $25 a week I make bulk meals and eat arround 1/2 to 3 pound of meat a week which I buy only every 3 months or…

I've been eating 1500 plus exercise for 2 weeks, though the first week I didn't workout and I used an old spreadsheet I created years ago, it takes too long to log food through that so I downloaded MFP app and have been using it the last week to log activity and calories. Both weeks I lost 5 lbs which I guess makes sense…

I have gone to a professional nutritionist to consider getting professional help on my health. However, I would have to pay something like $30/hour of her time (1 hour minimum) to go over what I'm eating each week. This would not be covered by my health insurance and I can't really afford $30-60/week for the service…

My husband seems to want to complain that he won't be able to play with my fat once I loose weight. ( :p Yes, he's a bit of a weirdo) But otherwise he's fine with it. I can't express how completely happy that I have found someone that doesn't dump on me for not having "the perfect body."

I'm 5'5" and decided to get my weight down to 125 as that's what my doctor recommended to me when I was 18. Worst. Decision. Ever. At 125 pounds I was 14% body fat and felt like I was dying. I would faint nearly every day at random times. The doctor that requested I lost the weight completely ignored me when I told him…
