I was having chest pains at work and ended up having to go to the emergency room. Fortunately it was not a heart attack but it sure was a wake up call. I've dropped about 80 lbs in just over 14 months and am pretty happy with where I've ended up. I did it with life style changes and I'm going to do what it takes to ensure…

Losing 8 more lbs to get under 200 lbs.

Family and friends minimal change (their has been a bit of jealousy from a couple acquaintances). Have definitely noticed a difference when interacting with strangers though and how they percieve me.

I have been lucky. I have lost over 70 lbs in about 7 months and do not have any lose skin. It seems like it's something that varies from person to person and really depends on how the weight sits on your body.

Yes if it would help improve my overall health. Wye eat a pizza with just anchovies on it?

Thanks everyone for your replies. I guess what I was perceiving as a stall really isn't one since I am still losing. It's just happening at a much slower pace then what had grown accustomed too.
-
I am still dropping but at a significantly decreased rate. It's been going on for about 3 weeks now.

I'm 5"11. Started at 290 and down to 235. Haveade some progress but still have a ways to go.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum, actually beginning to get sick of people commenting on my weight loss. I'm doing this for me and what others think is not really relevant. It was nice in beginning but now it's just the same comments over and over. I'm at the point where will just politely smile and change the…

Thanks for the replys. Going to have to play around for it a bit and see if can get it sorted. Today it adjusted my daily calories to over 5k. Have a feeling that is slightly off lol.
-
Nice job everyone on all those steps. The sample size is small but have been tracking for a couple of weeks now. My day depending on how busy it is can be anywhere from 5k -25k step

Don't give up. Remember it's a life style change not a diet. To be successful and to avoid reverting back to old patterns that's how you need to look at it. Best of luck on your weight loss journey.

Thanks everyone for your input. Going to hold off doing anything for now and keep it status quo and see what happens. If the weight loss is still happening this quickly in a few weeks will reevaluate and increase daily intake.

I do to get a more accurate nutriet count.

My last binge lasted for about two years. It was a farmers breakfast wrap from Tim Hortons in the morning on my way to work. Then would eat a egg on a bagel from the coffee shop by my work. Would skip lunch then on the way home would stop at McDonald's or Wendy's and get a Angus combo or a Asiago chicken combo........then…

When you feel hungry at night try a couple glasses of water instead. It's not foolproof however someone times when you feel like you need food your really just thirsty.

42 here. Making some serious life style changes and looking for all the support that can get. I can be very supportive also.

A baked sweet potato with a bit of maple syrup is all that you need to make a meal that much better.

Sorry forgot age and activity level. I'm 42 and my activity level is minimal with the exception of walking 3-5 days a week and the occasional physical day at work.

When thyroid issues are involved weight loss unfortunately can prove to be very difficult. It doesn't matter how much you cut or count calories it just seems like you never get results. I really don't know what your situation is and it's something you would need to speak to your doctor about at length but if your finding…

Their is no need to feel guilty. The reality is the harder you try to just eat clean the more likely you are to fail and regain weight in the long run. Basically it's okay to endulge every now and then your only human after all.

Thanks. Will look into it

My poison is Wendy's and more specifically the spicy Asiago club ranch with a large fries and ice tea. It's been about 3 weeks since have had one and all I can say is I crave one every time I pass a Wendy's

I'm in this situation also. My goal is to lose 108 lbs, have lost 11.8 lbs so far. Mfp has been a huge help with tracking.

Thanks for your input everyone. I need to invest in a scale.
