  • I'm sorry your ex cheated on you. My advice is not to use your breakup or anger at your ex as motivation for your weight loss. The emotions from the breakup will pass eventually and then will you have the commitment to keep losing weight and to maintain the loss? Dropping 100 pounds is a huge achievement and you can do it…
  • I'm a newbie so not sure if I'm a great source of wisdom.... but from what I read people say if you reach a plateau or your numbers aren't going the right way you adjust either your calories down or your activity level up. Have you tried dropping your calories another 100/day?
  • Congrats on your progress! In your original post you mentioned a ~41 lb weight loss. Have you made progress since and has your circulation issue improved? Keep up the good work!
  • I started using MFP after having my body fat % measured for the first time and not being pleased with the result. I'm probably 60% of what I wanted to shed so now for the final and most exciting (for me) final part. Feel free to add.
  • Thanks, I'll check out the TDEE spreadsheet. I bought a food scale and am weighing and logging pretty well. As with many I imagine the hardest part is when I eat out or don't prepare the food myself.
  • Sorry to hear about your wife Scotty. I can't imagine how difficult that must have been. I just lost my mother a few weeks ago and life seems a bit surreal sometimes. What's your exercise and nutrition routine now? Have you lost weight in the past or is this your first time?
