I put on a pair of my jeans which are high waisted, they came up to just under my bust. I don’t feel smaller but things are definitely changing.

Motivation is the thing that will get you started but consistency is the thing that will carry you through. I agree with what been said in the replies above. Just start logging what you are eating now, have a good look at it in a month and ask if what you are eating is going to get you to your goal. Make little changes and…

Have you tried supplementing iron alongside eating iron rich foods? We have to put up with a lot from our ever changing bodies, I hope you find a solution for what you’re going through.

I had it for 2 or 3 years and like most above I’ve tried various things. The one thing I can point out that gave me noticeable relief was changing my trainers to Sketchers Go Walk. I’ve not suffered for a while, I don’t know how long as you don’t realise they feel better until weeks or months later. I still buy and use the…

Have you tried meal prep for those days? Only having certain foods around should help mitigate some of the excess weight from water retention even if you go over your daily kcals.

I can’t advise on what exercises to do to lose weight but have you ever looked into DDP yoga? DDP developed his own brand of yoga to help with his back issues and involves a mix of yoga and rehabilitation exercises.

I don’t think motivation is the key, we all lose that at some point. I believe it comes down to being consistent no matter what and showing up. You have to make it become something that you just do. We don’t miss work because the weather is miserable so why miss going to the gym if that’s your thing. Pencil it in your…

I’ve recently purchased a Garmin Instinct and yes it’s about the size of a regular watch. My wrists are about 7 inches in circumference so I’m not particularly dainty.

While my weight has gone up and down with the same 2 ½ lbs these past 2 weeks (hopefully it’s settled and ready to start going downward again) I’ve seen some great improvements in other areas. My shoulders are noticeably defined and feel solid. My biceps have definitely grown and will look amazing once the layer of fat is…

I ride a motorbike and I want to look hot in leathers, not like an over stuff sausage. Also I don’t dress how I want to at the moment simple because The sizes don’t fit me, I want to be able to go into any shop and know I can fit into the clothes I want.

Just try and be 1% better than you were yesterday. 1% more steps, 1% better food choices. Before you know it all those 1%’s will add up to a massive change.

Everything I’m doing is becoming consistent. I turned up for a training session (leg day) despite not sleeping well and having to get up early. I wasn’t really in the mood to go but I did and it was a great session. My eating is 90% good and I don’t crave sweet things. When I do have anything sweet it’s more because of…

I started strength training 11 weeks ago and currently on week 7 of a powerlifting plan. Monday I hit a pb of 112.5kg for 2 on deadlifts, it feels pretty awesome being able to pick up a heavy *kitten* weight.

Just realised that I’ve lost 10% of my SW and am only 2lbs off losing 2 stone. Need to figure out what my next goal is going to be.

I’ve realised my plantar fasciitis has all but gone. I’ve suffered with it for so long I’d pretty much resigned myself to always feeling pain when I first hobble around in the morning.

Yesterday I completed 10 weeks without eating processed sugar and feel so much better for it. I feel less bloated, my stomach feels like it goes in rather than out and my weight in down by 24 lbs. It's a great way to start Christmas.

My biggest weakness is (was) sugar. I couldn't have a couple of sweets, I'd eat them all and feel sick. I'd dip into the snack cupboard and not really notice just how much I was eating. Just over 7 weeks ago I decided enough was enough, I needed to do something about it and gave myself a target of 10 weeks without eating…

I bought 3 pairs of jeans several months ago, all the same size but one pair was a little tighter than the others. I put on a little more weight and that pair of jeans ended up in the back of the wardrobe. I then got the impetus to get off my butt, cut refined sugar from my diet and change the composition of my body. It's…

I found that I feel better by not eating breakfast at "breakfast time" and consume food within a smaller window of time. I wouldn't say I was fasting as I still try to eat a certain amount of kcals but it has stopped me eating for eating's sake.

As for exercise why don’t you incorporate being with your dogs and getting a workout, take them hiking or running will be great for you both. For your ice cream habit have you thought about freezing protein shakes into ice lollies. You could even add a few treats to the mix of you wanted something a little more decadent.…

Persistence. Move on from your slip, learn a lesson from it and get back to what you need to do to reach your goal.

I’m 4 weeks into cutting out refined sugar from my diet and I’m amazed at the difference. I’ve dropped 13lbs, sleep much better, get up in the mornings more easily (usually at this time of year all I want to do is hibernate), feel much less bloated and have more energy. Best of all is I’m not craving the rubbish foods that…

Yep, I’m in exactly the same position as you. Feel free to add me :)
