  • I weigh everything I eat and even add recipes for all the random family meals I make which is a mission but I'm committed, so. My cycle (during which I picked up 2kgs yikes!) Is over so I was hoping I'd see something positive happening but alas. Fluctuating water weight is a thing but I'm not fluctuating I'm stagnant and…

  • I self diagnosed. It is worsened significantly by sitting but it only started after the run. I will definitely look into the hip muscle imbalances as that makes perfect sense. Thanks guys
  • I think you look good. Honestly.
  • Also if yoga helps, please send recommendations. Dvd or YouTube or app.
  • Hahaha. Pirates was autocorrected when I typed pilates. Even my phone hates pilates. I'm keeping it :D :D
  • The only bad chocolate is stuff you don't enjoy. Or Hershey's, because gross. [/quote] Ha :D The good chocolate and bad chocolate debate. I'll eat anything that's not the gross cooking chocolate with the plastic taste. Also I'm really enjoying everyones comments. The people in this community are both nice and entertaining…
  • I weigh every day though I don't recommend it. Once a week is plenty. Though the disappointment of picking up or not losing if you've been waiting all week to see results is so much more so I weigh every day then I'm never too surprised or disappointed.
  • Interesting. Thanks guys. Would never have considered it like that. I have been thinking how counting calories is almost too easy and that i can eat anything with good portion control. However my conscience was convincing me I'm being punished for eating chocolate on a diet. I've only ever done diets that have been…
  • Is there a spreadsheet?
  • Yesterday. We had a busy day and I wasn't prepared for it. Got to family members house late afternoon and I was so hungry I binged on chips and fruit juice and when we got home I ate vetkoeks and topped it off with ice cream and chocolate sauce. I think the binging on chips made me feel oh well I'm already screwed for…
  • I agree. Once a week over (and you're not even over by that much) won't hurt. I think it'll actually be better for you cause your body gets used to a "diet". Shocking it with some chocolate will not only keep you happy and motivated but it'll keep your body from adapting. Enjoy your some chocolate ♡
  • You can do it :) . Don't look back. What's been done CAN be undone.
  • Thanks. Will do.
  • Chocolate. White bread. Crisps. Nuts. Any carbonated drink
  • Clever conclusion but except for mild lactose intolerance I have no allergies or asthma or hayfever or anything usually. My sedentary years (when I was pregnant) I had no colds or anything like that.
  • I try at least twice a year to get fit for the last 15 odd years and each time I get a very sore throat and head cold symptoms. I had a coxsackie heart virus as a kid and as a result I have a gammy heart so I am not allowed to exercise while sick, drs orders. I just get so demotivated. And then it is ages before I try…
  • Nope. I run around on the farm dirt roads.
  • Me too!!!! Eating when happy, sad, excited, stressed, bored, celebrating. I have to find something else to occupy myself with now.
  • I rarely exercise formally but i hardly sit at all during the day & I go for walks with the kids every day and play ball and carry them around so I'm not completely sedentary . What if I increased my calories but start doing weight lifting exercises (what is taebo, cardio? ). Will it make a difference in terms of inches…
  • You are all right of course. Low blood sugar is making me crazy and grumpy. Patience has never been a virtue I possess. Its usually all or nothing and that's not sustainable. Will reconsider my goal. Thanks guys.
  • I hate having to lose weight so much. I don't fit into anything. I want pizza. And i just want this over with already.
  • I am under eating at 1200 calories a day in order to lose 1 kg a week. But I'm forcing myself cause I also know myself well enough to know that if it doesn't happen fast enough I'll lose all motivation and go the other way. I reckon I could get there fast and maintenance should be easy. I just don't understand, I was fine…
  • I feel you, sister. I get what you're going through. There has to be a way to keep doing what you're doing, just smarter. Maybe find a "healthier" low carb pizza with vegetables and resume your exercise cause regardless of whether you outrun your fork or not, it's a great thing worth doing for your health. Good luck ♡
  • I love this calorie counting way for this exact reason. I can really eat anything. I have burgers with my family on a Friday and French toast on a Sunday morning. I don't feel too badly restricted. If I see I have no more calories left for supper, I'll take the kids for a walk or mow the lawn or something to "work it back"…
  • Recovering chocoaholic with 4 kids. Nothing to wear. Won't buy fat clothes. 25 kgs to lose. We can do this! !
