This is what the PT came up with. I dabbled with stronglifts 5x5 on my own but as a newbie who had never stepped food in the free weight section I was intimdated and def needed guidance.

I did. I wouldn't have been upset if I'd gone way over calories but wanted to stay in the habit. One day off can turn into a week if I'm not careful. So no days off it is!

My morning workouts are always intense and last at least an hour. Rather than tire me out I find they get me pumped for the day! If the same isn't true for you then maybe a walk or swimming might be better. Are you looking for cardio or strength training?

I average an 8 min mile on my long runs. Currently when I'm on a treadmill I set the incline to 4 out of habit, beacuse a personal trainer told me to. I don't know the rationale but that hillrunner's chart was really helpful!

I def reccommend trying zoodles. They are pretty good as a substitute and you can eat a lot without feeling guilty!

Thanks everyone. So amazing how much harder the height makes things. I will just do as much as can even of it'z much less than what I can do at home. Excited to see the benefit when I get back to sea level. Oh and totally agree, what a beautiful place!
