I work in my oral surgery department of a dental school. I always suggest macaroni and cheese....grilled cheese sandwich (no crust). These are soft enough but more like food than ice cream, yogurt or soup. 😏

Alot depends on maker. Things made in asia are absurd sizing. The higher end makers size totally different and more to my liking. Appeals to my ego.....hmmm.... Psychology most likely.

I have gotten some pretty nice stuff from thrift stores. Items sold in Macys and the name brand Chico have been major wins! As weight comes off thrift stores are economical saviors. Its not always a jackpot but patience can pay off!

If you're close to a Ross store, they have a variety of sugar free coffee syrups for cheap. Try fat free creamer at any grocery store for 15 cal For 2tblsp.

Shrimp or chicken spring rolls. They are fresh and not fried. The peanut sauce is probably the highest calorie item but you don't need alot.

Working on wt loss as well as keeping glucose acceptable is a double edged sword and a CHALLENGE!

Once you have a mental block that hashimotos is keeping you from your goals....it will. If medications are appropriate with bloodwork...your challenges will be no more difficult than joe blows!

I am T1 on a pump and I must check sugars constantly as I am losing weight. As weight goes down so does my insulin. It is dangerous as others have noted. I am never without a bag of frozen roasted corn. Not on the cob but just roasted corn. Use it as an addition to soups or stews. This is the best tasty corn.
