I had high blood pressure and recently stopped taking medication. Running and healthier eating has helped. I want to avoid a high sodium diet due to taking measures not to increase blood pressure increase risks.

Sounds cliche but try not to focus on the number so much. Make your goal to stay under your MFP goal 6 days a week and workout at least 5. A few things that helped me are exercising first thing in the morning. Nothing intense. I do the elliptical but any workout video thing for 10 minutes will do. It is more about setting…
