You sound a lot like me! I’m thinking if I set it at a 1/2 lb per week it’ll take forever! Have you stalled at all? Thats another thing I worry about..that if I start at 1200, i’ll stall & have to cut back even more to keep losing ?

oh ya & i was afraid to slow down my metabolism by eating less & my body adjusting to it (Fung), but duh, if i weigh less my body obviously wouldn’t require as many calories as it once did to stay fat

thanks!! honestly, i was just falling for all the false info & keto success stories. i KNOW it is not a lifestyle i can keep forever..geez after only a week i was bored with my meals because they didn’t feel like “meals”. i’m sure i’m repeating what others have said many times when i say i can’t imagine never eating carbs…

in a way i guess he is recommending less snacking (by means of IF & extended fasts) to reduce over production of insulin. (don’t shoot the messenger guys, i’m just relaying what he said lol)

I believe he said its all based on WHEN they eat...they don’t snack like Americans...that they don’t have an insulin problem because of this (????)

what about autophagy? i’m worried when i lose this weight, i’ll have sagging skin...which extended fasts over 36 hrs are supposed to kick you into this autophagy

Just curious as to why the people saying Fung is crazy, why do you believe so? Have you read his books or listened to any of his podcasts? Can’t really claim he’s crazy if not. And he’s not all about making money..anyone can watch what he has to say on Youtube for free sooo.. How do you not accept the science behind it??…
