  • A relative of mine had a C diff infection several years ago. After treatment in hospital her doctor recommended Jarrodophilus. She has been taking them ever since and says she can feel difference on the rare days when she forgets to take them.
  • Have you looked at Lauren Ohayon on YouTube? She has a comprehensive paid 13 week program called Restore Your Core that deals with diastasis recti and POP. She also has a lot of free information on YouTube and Instagram about movement and breathing that you mind find helpful.
  • Here is something that my 14 year old that is learning to cook made for dinner recently. It’s all roasted at 425F until the potatoes are cooked and slightly browned. There are plenty of vegetables there but you can always add more.
  • It really depends on the vegetable. Something like zucchini or eggplant will get soft. Zucchini can get mushy if you cook it fir too long so it only needs a few minutes. Eggplant needs longer cooking but it’s delicious. Broccoli will get charred a smoky and delicious but it stays firm. Next time you have your grill on just…
  • We love vegetables around here in any form but our favorite way is to grill a lot of them. Eggplant, cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, peppers, onions, carrots, brussel sprouts, romaine lettuce, green beans, corn etc - everything goes on the grill. Depending on the size of the pieces I either place them directly on the…
  • I like a scoop of Vega protein powder in my morning oatmeal. The salted caramel toffee flavor is my favorite. It’s pea protein powder and the amount of sugar is very minimal.
  • We like Kodiak Cakes brand of whole grain high protein pancake mix.
  • This is what I do as well. I find it very helpful to quickly and easily prepare a meal if all the ingredients are cleaned and cut up. It’s also easier to convince my teenage kids to cook a meal. They are more likely to comply if some of the work has already been done.
  • Thank you for this. I see now that the recipes can be edited even on iOS. It never occurred to me to check.
  • My kid had a hand injury when he was little. Part of his recovery was to use very tiny things. Had to write with a tiny pencil, pick up very tiny things and put them in a tiny bowl etc… good luck with your recovery.
  • I’ve heard Pavel Tsatsouline talk about “greasing the groove” in which you’ll end your set as soon as you start to feel fatigue but way before exhaustion. You’ll spread out the sets throughout the day. It is low intensity, you accumulate very little fatigue, but you get better at that particular exercise and at some point…
  • Tell us what you like to eat and maybe we can help you to make it healthier.

  • I don’t have the premium version but I’m able to add more than 5 ingredients to the recipe. Maybe you accidentally clicked too far and saved it? I don’t think a recipe can be edited after it’s saved. I would start again from the beginning and hopefully you can add all your ingredients.
  • I understand how you feel but with a change in mindset and small sustainable changes in lifestyle you can lose weight and improve your overall health. I had an accident a few years ago which tore both medial collateral ligaments in my knees. I now have arthritis in my knees and right hip, Achilles tendinosis and Morton’s…
  • Personally I just drink it in a glass of water. It’s the only way that I can be consistent with it and not depend on the types of foods I’m eating that day. I use a straw and drink the entire cup in one go. It’s not bad at all (at least to me). Edited to add - I really like the Metamucil brand of orange flavored psyllium…
  • Maybe he can start increasing his calories slowly over time and keep an eye on his weight. If he starts eating too much he won’t gain all the wait overnight. He will see that the scale went up by a few pounds and then he can start slowly reducing the calories so he doesn’t gain any more weight.
  • This happens to me at night when I’m tired but instead of going to sleep I’m forcing myself to stay up and finish watching a show. My entire body gets all twitchy and I feel the need to frequently stretch.
  • On days when I know I’ll be having a higher calorie dinner I like to have 3oz of deli sliced turkey wrapped around thin pickle spears or celery or bell peppers for lunch. I like the taste and different textures and it’s filling for me without a lot of calories. A hot cup of coffee is also very helpful. If I’m craving…
  • When I feel burnt out and have no motivation I increase my calories to maintenance level and take a break from working out for a few days. Get extra sleep if possible, read, go on walks, take care of house chores if anything has piled up and it bothers me. After a few days I’m usually ready to go back into a deficit and…
  • I don’t know about your liver enzymes but your other symptoms with your hands are similar to mine when I had a calcium deficiency.
  • We have a Horizon T101 treadmill that we bought for $600 when it was on sale in the summer of 2020. Three people use it daily for an hour each and we like it a lot.
  • A YouTube channel called Bodyfit by Amy has an entire postnatal series of workouts. Maybe you’ll find something there.
  • https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yLTFUaO7ty0 I have osteoarthritis in my knees, previously had both medial collateral ligaments ruptured, had a torn meniscus and surgery to remove. I find the above workout and similar ones quite gentle and easy on my knees.
  • I mostly walk on an incline on a treadmill and do YouTube Pilates videos. I find this doable with a lot of previous injuries and arthritis.
  • My favorite recipe comes from the Quaker Oats website. https://www.quakeroats.com/cooking-and-recipes/baked-oatmeal Not sure how to make it in an air fryer though.
  • Quinoa chickpea salad with spinach and grape tomatoes and an oat bran muffin with raisins and chocolate chips.
  • I love the recipes I find on Budget Bytes. My favorites are all of the refrigerator salads. Everything I find there is simplified but delicious.
  • Congratulations! Well done.
  • Maybe a good calisthenics program would be helpful to you if you just plan on using your own bodyweight. For example a book called Get Strong by Al Kavadlo would have useful information for you.
  • The only thing that helps me is to honestly and accurately log all the foods I eat. Being able to see what I ate, why I ate it and how I felt afterwards helps me to make better choices for my next meal. I haven’t eliminated any foods from my diet but I am learning to be creative and find ways to fit all my favorite foods…
