Shrimp, cod, and chicken breast work good for me. Maybe ground turkey? And jerky or meat sticks are good snacks :)

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm on my fourth fast day now and the nerves seem to be getting a little better. I start my day with some dark chocolate collegan in my coffee (50 cal, 10 grams protein) then I'll have a protein bar for lunch and probably some riced cauliflower with shrimp and a little ghee for dinner o:)

I put monk fruit in mine, it has less of an aftertaste than Stevia (if that's ok for your fast). :)

Hey there, I've been using MFP for awhile but am currently on my first week of fasting. I was stuck at the same weight for what seemed like forever so I finally decided to give IF a try. I was pretty scared until I found the 5:2 approach and thought it might be better for me because I work out 5 days a week mostly in theβ¦

Most of the calorie estimates are from cardio, strength training only accounts for maybe 100. I run 2-3 miles on the treadmill and/or do 4-6 miles on the elliptical. Plus I don't eat over 2000 calories anyway so I should always be in a deficit. You're right I'm not stuck just impatient I guess π thanks ππ»

I should of mentioned also that I just recently increased my calorie intake. I did have it set to 1lb per week but was feeling really weak and run down eating 1600-1700 calories a day. I also monitor my protein and make sure I eat about 140 grams a day. Guess I just got used to losing fast and am being impatient lol
