That's a good start. I have not got a very healthy relationship with food unfortunately. But I keep on keeping on
-
Perhaps! We can come out of hiding now 😜
-
Hello! People seem busy these days
-
😂 But you are young! You fit right in here. In fact, this place wouldn't be the same without you
-
Thanks! 🤗❤️

As promised.... Original and then the new, improved and much loved. So excited right now
-
I will definitely share! I don't even know what we are doing. I'm going to find out on Tuesday. Super excited
-
I am also going on Tuesday. Cover/modify my obsolete wedding band (sold my engagement ring to pay for it 🤭)
-
Is it just me, or are the middle agers getting younger by the year? Like yeah, I pitched in here at 37, but that doesn't mean everyone can! Haha. I jest obviously. Just had to have my biannual chime in
-
Awesome! I've been binge watching Ink Masters. Super jealous
-
Yes. Ignore them. They are scammers
-
Ditto this. I hope you can work together to bring back her joy

That is super convenient. Packing mine away is a pretty simple matter, but I just haven't yet. My studies kind of collapsed thanks to bad administration at the university. But luckily I got recognition for prior learning through another institution, and so I am getting back on track

I have always been a go-through-the-motions person. I still am when it comes to earning a living. I am 40 and I have very recently (very very recently) discovered I have a passion for causes. Like all causes are worth fighting for. I ran for breast cancer awareness, I ran for gender based violence awareness and did 16 Days…

Speaking of which; there haven't been many people hanging out here. I have be crazy busy with the start of school while still in lockdown, my work and studies and then all the other things that need to be done. I haven't even taken down my Christmas tree 😳😵

I am getting my first wedding band tattoo modified on the 16th Feb. I'm selling off my engagement ring and other jewelry my ex gave me to pay for it
-
Precisely my thoughts. Love doesn't mean taking any abuse dished out to you. If the other person loves you, they will not treat you like that. If the love is not reciprocated, what are you doing with them?

I had an above average day. I am looking forward to the weekend - it's my mom's birthday and we have had the dessert planned for a week now
-
Seconded
-
Wow. That's totally random nasty

My ex wanted a tattoo but didn't want to go alone. He also was distrustful and constantly accusing me of having an affair, so he wanted me to get a permanent wedding ring. Me, still being caught in the cycle of abuse, would do anything to prove my loyalty to him. So my first tattoo is a obsolete wedding band. I want to…

I'm so sorry. That is a horrible thing to have to go through. I hope your mom is okay.
-
I am so sorry. This has not been an easy time for many people. I cannot imagine what your daughter is going through. I am glad she still has you. I wish people weren't so selfish all the time Happy birthday. Or at least, I hope your birthday isn't too horrible. 🤗

Sometimes. Sometimes when love has been destroyed there is nothing in this world or any other that can bring it back. It may be possible to love again, but not the same person. Sometimes things are gone for good
-
I know exactly what you mean. It is easy for people who have never been through it to question why you stayed and why you believed all the nonsense. But being right there in the middle of it is completely different. It seems they move on so easily and so quickly while we are left trying to stick the dust and ashes together…
-
I second that Jo! Definitely looks good on you
-
Absolutely! Practice makes perfect!
-
Thank you both. I appreciate your support. It is comforting to have someone other than my parents telling me I am not the evil one here. It starts to get to a person eventually

My 13yo son told me he was depressed a week ago. This didn't surprise me, since he has been showing signs of depression and mid 2020 my ex insisted he instantly stop medication he was on for generalized anxiety disorder (which he was put on as a matter of urgency before it turned into depression). I told him I would take…

You need to make your own clothes. Much cheaper and you get what you want and need I have always thought I need to learn how to make shoes. I can never find shoes that are comfortable other than new running shoes and broken in hiking boots
