I know 2-4K was sedentary, that’s why that was my setting. But I’ve been averaging 9-12k+, so I wasn’t sure if that’d be lightly active or to log everything, or not at all. The distance I walk is usually .75-1.5 miles per walk, sometimes 2+ if it’s a longer one. I’m pushing a stroller with two kids (avg 60lbs between the…

Both. I go through phases. It’s hard for me to stick to an exercise “plan”. I can usually stay on track with my diet (maybe 5 “cheat” days per month now, but I’m close to my goal so I’ve been a lot hungrier lately which makes it harder). I’ve been going on short walks around my neighborhood everyday for about a week, which…

I’m set as sedentary currently.

I’m a stay at home mom, so I don’t have to worry about time off at a normal job. We have the money saved already, they aren’t that out of reach anymore. I’ve read sometimes the area is numb when people get tattoo’d there. If my scar is ugly that’s what I’d do!

I’m going to be getting a tummy tuck. The skin bothers me, so it’s worth it for me.

It’s so weird. I started at 167, and I’m 127 now (5’1). I still have some pounds to lose, but sometimes I don’t feel smaller. It’s so annoying.

I watch Meet Kevin on youtube, and he does daily stimulus and unemployment updates. Very helpful and he isn’t biased (doesn’t say if he’s left or right, just gives facts from both sides). I appreciate his updates so I don’t have to watch the news anymore. Check him out! It’ll help your stress I’m sure

Honestly I usually eat over maintenance for 2-3 days near and on my period. I can get ravenous. But once it’s over, my hunger goes back to normal/low.
-
You can lose 2 pounds a week safely. It may even be recommended to lose that that rate (or even slightly higher) due to the strain the extra weight causes on your body. Have you spoken to a doctor and asked what they recommend?

Thank you! I agree. No matter what my husbands interests are, I try to be supportive and encouraging. Why is it okay for people to be total *kittens* to the person their *supposed* to love most? I don’t get the “pass” mentality.

I’m short also (5’1). My goal is set to 1350, but sometimes (not super often, but it happens) I get to 1000 and don’t feel hungry (especially if I missed or have a late breakfast). I usually don’t get to the point of my stomach growling before I’ll eat (unless it’s like 1am and I stayed up too late). Sometimes I wonder if…

You have to count calories for weight loss. You can implement intermittent fasting also but calories are what matter. I stick to eating from the time I wake up (sometimes immediately if I’m hungry or I wait up to 5 hours depending on my day). My goal is to stop eating around 6:30-7pm. I usually go to sleep around 10-12.…

I take a probiotic every day, a prenatal vitamin daily (using them up while breastfeeding and will soon switch to women’s vitamins). I usually will drink a protein “shake” most days to get my protein up for the day (I’m usually low even with the shake. I drink it warm like a hot chocolate and I look forward to it!). I’m…

That’s so awesome to hear! I can’t wait! That’ll (along with tummy tuck) be my present to myself once I hit goal weight.
-
If it doesn’t get better, you could always get a tummy tuck. 😊

My boobs were drastically different at one point, but they seem to have evened out over the last couple months. I’m still getting new ones later though 😂
-
You’ll start losing hair if you stay at 1300 while breastfeeding. Take it from me, I did it (and I am shorter (5’1) and was lighter (150-125 lbs)). Bring it up to 1600 minimum. You’ll still lose at a quick rate, but your body won’t suffer as much.
-
The goals don’t matter, they’re only for your benefit. It won’t change you rate of loss.
-
Do we really have to go down to only .5 lb/week if you have 20lbs to lose? That seems so slow
-
It’s so huge to know that calorie counting always works! I’ve lost almost 40lbs from my highest weight so far, and have taken breaks along the way. It’s nice to know even if I “mess” up, I can get right back on it the following day or week. The first couple days are always the hardest, but yesterday for example, I wasn’t…

I’d love to do a pull up! It’s too hard for me right now with the excess weight and small muscles. Lol. Maybe I’ll adjust my goal lower. I definitely want a lean look.
-
Yeah I’m kind of thinking my goal 115-120 won’t be low enough. I feel like I have a decent amount of fat left to shed. It sucks being short.
-
Thank you! That does help. Sorry the way I worded it was confusing. My original goal was 120, but I think that’ll have to be my top range. I’m not sure if I’ll look much different than I do now so it’s hard for me to try to “pick” a Goal weight range.
-
I mean as in 5 pound range, 10 pound range, 2 pound range, etc. How do you keep yourself on track? Do you set your goal as the upper, mid, or low number in the range?
-
5’1” and around 128-130 right now. First goal is 120, then 115 and I’ll reassess then if I want to go to 110. I have wide shoulders so I’m not sure if 110 would be too small for my frame.
