I'm running a little behind for alcohol-free December... I had a good streak going, then my company's holiday party happened, then we had two stressful days at work and decided to go out after work to loosen up... Last night was a good reminder to get back on the sober train after one of my coworkers went to the hospital…

My big concern is getting into that "vacation" mentality and then bringing it back home with me... But I do see your point!

Thank you! This is a helpful tip. I will try to focus on just one great meal out a day and prepare food for the rest of the meals. I don't want to eat out just to eat out, if that makes sense. And I will try to stress less about my calorie goal :)

This is really helpful, thank you. I won't have a gym available where I'm staying but if I can walk up and down the beach a couple of times a day, I will probably feel like I've accomplished something. Plus I just found out we'll have a stove in our unit so I can prepare my own food instead of eating boardwalk dining

Thanks everyone for this thread! I've been following and it's very inspiration for me. Completely sober October didn't happen for me (had only 1 over indulgent night though!!) but I'm all in for November!
